The company is slowly rolling out this and in the coming time, it will be available to all smartphone users with a stable version. In the latest update, users can add up to 8 members simultaneously in video calling, whereas earlier this limit was only 4 members.
This change in the group call will compete with video calling apps like Zoom and Google Duo. Because in these you can do group calling from more than 4 people simultaneously. Especially in this difficult time of lockdown, this feature is proving very useful. People are sitting at home and connecting with each other through video calling. By the way, 100 people can be connected simultaneously in video calling on the Zoom app. At the same time, the group calling limit in Google Duo has been increased from 8 to 12.
