Nothing could raise Phone 4a, Phone 4a Pro and Phone 4b prices again in India after earlier revisions affected the 4a lineup.
Nothing could be preparing another price increase for its smartphones in India, with the Phone (4a), Phone (4a) Pro and Phone (4b) reportedly set to become more expensive. If the reported revision goes ahead, it would mark another significant change to the pricing of Nothing’s latest smartphone lineup within a relatively short period.
The Phone (4a) and Phone (4a) Pro already received a price increase in June 2026, with the standard model becoming Rs 3,000 more expensive and the Pro model receiving a Rs 5,000 increase across variants. The latest report suggests that Nothing may now raise prices again, potentially affecting all variants of the three models.
Nothing Phone 4a and 4a Pro Could Get Another Hike
The Nothing Phone (4a) series has already gone through multiple price revisions since its launch in India.
The Phone (4a) launched at Rs 31,999 for its base configuration. Following the June revision, the 8GB + 128GB model increased to Rs 37,999, while the 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB variants moved to Rs 40,999 and Rs 43,999 respectively.
The Phone (4a) Pro also became considerably more expensive. Its 8GB + 128GB variant moved to Rs 49,999, while the 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB versions were priced at Rs 52,999 and Rs 55,999 respectively after the June hike.
The latest report claims another increase of up to Rs 5,000 could now be introduced across the Phone (4a) and Phone (4a) Pro range. Nothing has not publicly confirmed the reported revision at the time of writing, so the final prices should be treated as unconfirmed until the company or its retail partners announce the change.
Nothing Phone 4b Could Also Become More Expensive
The reported increase is not limited to the 4a lineup. The newer Nothing Phone (4b), which was launched in India in July, is also reportedly included in the planned price revision.
The Phone (4b) launched at Rs 34,999 for the 8GB + 128GB configuration and Rs 38,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model. The smartphone is positioned below the Phone (4a) series and is intended to bring Nothing’s design and software experience to a lower price segment.
The phone features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor, a 6.77-inch 120Hz display, a 6,000mAh battery and a 50MP primary rear camera. It runs Nothing OS 4.1 based on Android 16.
A price increase could therefore have a more noticeable impact on the Phone (4b), since the device was specifically introduced as a more affordable B-series model.
Why Nothing Is Raising Smartphone Prices Again
The latest price revisions come during a broader period of rising component costs affecting the smartphone industry.
Memory and storage costs have been identified as one of the factors behind several smartphone price increases in India during 2026. Nothing had already raised the Phone (4a) and Phone (4a) Pro prices twice within a short period, with the June revision following an earlier increase.

The higher price, however, puts the device into a more competitive segment where buyers have several alternatives from Motorola, Vivo, OnePlus and other brands.
Phone 4a Pro Has Seen an Even Bigger Increase
The Phone (4a) Pro has experienced an even more substantial price movement.
Its base variant launched at Rs 39,999 and increased to Rs 49,999 following the June revision. That represents a total increase of Rs 10,000 from the original launch price.
Another increase could push the Phone (4a) Pro further into a segment where consumers have access to smartphones with more powerful processors, larger batteries and faster charging.
That makes pricing particularly important for Nothing. The company’s distinctive design, Nothing OS experience and camera hardware remain key selling points, but consumers are likely to compare these advantages more closely against competing hardware as the price increases.
Phone 4b Was Designed as the More Affordable Option
The Phone (4b) takes a different approach by sitting below the 4a family.
Nothing introduced its B series as a more affordable smartphone range while retaining elements of the company’s visual identity. The Phone (4b) includes a transparent-inspired design approach, Glyph lighting and Nothing OS while using a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset.
Its 6,000mAh battery and 120Hz display are among the key specifications aimed at buyers looking for a large-screen smartphone with long battery life.
The current reported price hike could therefore alter the positioning of the B series if the increase is substantial.
Should You Buy a Nothing Phone Now?
