    Jio Is the Fastest Speed Provider, Vodafone Idea Top in Uploads: TRAI

    According to TRAI data, Jio’s average download speed in June was 21.9mbps. In the same month last month, Jio’s average 4G download speed was 20.7mbps. Reliance Jio has been at the top position in 4G download speed for the last few months continuously.

    Reliance Jio continues to dominate. Jio has once again achieved top downloading speed in the month of June. According to data from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), Jio’s average download speed in June stood at 21.9mbps. In the same month last month, Jio’s average 4G download speed was 20.7mbps. Reliance Jio has been at the top position in 4G download speed for the last few months continuously.

    Downloading Speed of Telecom Operators

    Airtel’s average 4G download speed stood at 5mbps in June as against 4.7mbps in May. As compared to February 2021, there has been a decline of about 30 percent in Airtel’s 4G download speed. In this way, in June, Airtel ranked third in terms of downloading speed. Meanwhile, Vi’s average download speed was recorded at 6.3mbps, up marginally to 6.5mbps in June. Vodafone Idea has topped Airtel in terms of downloading speed. The download speed of Jio is 3 times more than that of Vi.

    Vodafone Idea (Vi) had an average uploading speed of 6.2mbps in June 2021. In this list, Jio stood second. During this the uploading speed of Jio was 4.8mbps. Airtel also ranked third in terms of average 4G uploading speed. The company’s average uploading speed for the month of May was 3.9mbps.

    Andhra Pradesh has the fastest downloading speed among all the states. Jio’s average downloading speed in June in Andhra Pradesh was 18mbps. Similarly, Airtel is second with 8.1mbps and Vi is third. Where Vi’s download speed was 6.7mbps. The same Vi’s downloading speed was 5mbps.
