Airtel is now offering Airtel Xstream Box at an affordable price of Rs 2,249 from the original price of Rs 3,999

Bharti Airtel is now providing some of the most profitable offers with its DTH services, Airtel Digital TV with Airtel Xstream Box. The company is now offering its latest Android TV box, the Airtel Xstream Box at an affordable price of Rs 2,249 for Airtel Thanks customers. This movement will surely help to attract new customers and increase its subscriber base. To recall, the streaming box was launched in India at a price tag of Rs 3,999. This reflects a price cut of Rs 1,750. Customers can avail this offer from Airtel Thanks mobile application.

Bharti Airtel started its series of Android TV boxes with the launch of Airtel Internet TV a few years back. But, the market and the technology has gone through many changes and the demand of the consumers has also shifted. These days, the TV viewers not only want to access the internet on their TV screens but they want access to Live TV channels over the internet, the OTT applications and much more.

Customers can go to the Airtel Thanks mobile App and select on “Xstream Thanks offer” and select their city. After this, users need to verify their mobile number. Once all the steps are completed, users will require to enter the address for installation.

    Airtel Xstream Box Features

The Xstream Box runs on Android 9 Pie OS and combines both satellite TV and OTT content together through a single device. Along with the benefits offered to Xstream Stick users, Xstream Box will bring users the option to choose from 500 plus TV channels, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube and Airtel Store. The Airtel Xstream Box features WiFi and Bluetooth for connectivity and offers a built-in Chromecast option. There’s a universal remote that features Google Assistant based voice search and dedicated keys for launching Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and YouTube.

Moving on, customers who want this offer, need to select an Airtel bundle plan of Rs 699 instead of Rs 360. The Rs 699 plan offers a mass of exciting benefits. To start with, users will get 154 channels including 54 HD channels. Customers will also get complimentary access to all Xstream apps.

Airtel Xstream Box – Hybrid Set-Top Box

Unlike most of the set-top boxes available in the market right now, the Airtel Xstream Box is different because it is a hybrid set-top box. If you are coming across this term for the first time, then you should know that as opposed to a standard set-top box that only provides satellite TV channels, a hybrid set-top box combines OTT applications and the satellite TV channels both. This way, the viewers will be able to access both of these things with ease without flipping between remotes and without taking much hassle.

Airtel Xstream Box – Android TV

The Airtel Xstream Box comes with the latest Android 9.0 Pie-based Android TV operating system. It also supports other applications like Xstream App, Netflix, Prime Video, Zee5, ALTBalaji, YouTube, YouTube Kids, Play Store, Google Play movies, among others. Further, the users will also get access to the Google Play Store, using which the viewers will be able to download more applications on their set-top box.

Airtel Xstream Box – Bluetooth+ and Chromecast

These are two very important features that will enhance the connectivity of the box with the other devices that you might be using in your home. Using Chromecast, you will be able to mirror your screen from your smartphone and stream content if needed. The Bluetooth+ connectivity option will also come in handy while connecting audio appliances.

Airtel Xstream Box – Voice Support, Gamepad, and IoT Device Compatibility

The Airtel Xstream Box also comes with support for Google Home and other IoT device support. Not only this, but it will allow the users to access Airtel Games supported by Smart remote gamepad application. There will also be Amazon Alexa support for the Xstream smart box as you’ll be able to use your Alexa device for channel tuning, volume control and launching Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube application. The Airtel Xstream Box will support Google Voice search too.
