    Redmibook 13 Launched In China, Laptop Has Come With 10Th Generation Intel Core Processor

    The RedmiBook 13 is the latest entrant to Xiaomi’s lineup of RedmiBook series.

    Redmibook 13: Xiaomi has launched its Redmi K30 smartphone in China but Xiaomi had another surprise up its sleeves for the laptop segment. The company launched another new addition to the RedmiBook series of Windows laptops. The company has named it as the RedmiBook 13, the new model offers the latest specifications as well as brings down the bezels around the screen massively. In fact, the RedmiBook 13’s display has a screen-to-body ratio of 89 percent and 10th generation Intel processor.

    The 13.3-inch anti-glare display on the RedmiBook 13 offers 250 nits brightness and has an aspect ratio of 16: 9 and a screen-to-body ratio of 89 percent. The resolution of the display is 1920 × 1080 pixels and offers a 178-degree viewing angle. The device is getting a 10th generation Intel Core processor, the option to configure the laptop with a Core i5 or Core i7 chipset is also available.

    The laptop has a metal unibody design and is almost identical to the MacBook Air. The processor is paired with an NVIDIA GeForce MX250 2GB DDR5 graphic processor which is good enough for casual gaming. The laptop also has a chiclet-style keyboard, DTS sound audio support. RedmiBook 13 works on Windows 10 OS and comes with a pre-installed Microsoft Office.

    According to Xiaomi, the RedmiBook 13 laptop will offer 11 hours of battery life on a single charge, and this has been possible thanks to the built-in thermal cooling system and dual heat pipes on the laptop. For connectivity, the device has a USB Type-C port, a USB 3.1 port, an HDMI port, and WiFi 802.11 ac. The laptop supports Bluetooth 5.0 and two 2W speakers. The laptop comes with a 3.5mm audio jack, microphone combo, and DTS audio output. It weighs 1.23kg and dimensions is 323 x 228 x 17.95mm.

    Xiaomi has also built-in its mutual transmission support that is said to help with a network-less data transfer between the laptop and smartphones as well as between two laptops too. The laptop runs on Microsoft Windows 10 and Xiaomi is offering Microsoft Office Student Edition with all the RedmiBook 13 models. Xiaomi has added a new Hurricane cooling system, which includes a wing fan and a built-in 6mm diameter double heat pipe that increases the maximum heat transfer by 70 percent, to keep the RedmiBook 13 cool under trying circumstances.

    RedmiBook 13 price in China is set at RMB 4,199 (~Rs 42,000) for the base variant (set display edition), while the Core i5 processor and NVIDIA MX250 GPU variant costs RMB 4,499 (~Rs 45,000). The laptop’s top-end Intel Core i7 model has been priced at RMB 5,199 (~Rs 52,000). The RedmiBook 13 sale in China will commence from December 12th, but you can pre-order.
