A statement has come from Google in this matter. Google’s Chief Executive Officer Sundar Pichai said that free and open internet is being disrupted in many countries, which is worrying. A warning has been issued on their behalf about the dangers of banning the Internet.
Wrong to block internet flow

“In each country now there is a debate what speech is OK and what should be allowed… in some ways I think we pull back from the bigger picture (which is that) many countries around the world are restricting the flow of information and drawing much more rigid boundaries,” he said during an exclusive interview to BBC at the Google headquarters at Silicon Valley in California.
Pichai advocated free internet
In response to different laws for online content in different countries, Pichai said that free and open internet can be a good force if it is used properly.
