Galaxy M01 core is the third launch by Samsung under Rs 10,000 price segment in last 60 days
Samsung, India’s most trusted smartphone brand, announced the launch of Galaxy M01 Core, adding to its popular Galaxy M series line of smartphones in the country. Galaxy M01 Core is Samsung’s most affordable smartphone in India and has been conceptualized basis deep understanding of users who are yet to upgrade to smartphones as well as entry-level smartphone users.
After Galaxy M01 and Galaxy M01s, this is Samsung’s third phone under the Galaxy M series this year, in under INR 10000 segment. As India goes digital, Galaxy M01 Core will ensure easy access to technology for first-time smartphone users. Immersive viewing, long-lasting battery and new design
Galaxy M01 Core comes with 5.3″ HD+ display for the immersive viewing experience, packs in 3000 mAh battery for long-lasting usage of up to 11 hours, and is just 8.6 mm slim. Galaxy M01 Core sports a stylish stripe design in three colors: Black, Blue, and Red. Galaxy M01 Core has an 8MP rear camera and 5MP selfie camera to take great photographs. Galaxy M01 Core is powered by a quad-core MediaTek 6739 processor and comes in two memory variants.
‘Make for India’ User Experience
Galaxy M01 Core comes with several ‘Make for India’ features that help users transition from feature phones to smartphones. Galaxy M01 Core features an intelligent screen, with dynamic screen timeout for power optimization. To make life easier for new smartphone users, Galaxy M01 Core has a feature called ‘Intelligent Inputs – Smart Paste and Suggest Notification’. ‘Suggest Notification’ warns users about low battery and allows them to open their running app or add other critical apps in Maximum Power Saving Mode (provided it is supported by MPSM mode) for extended run time.
‘Smart Paste’ allows user to paste the relevant text like pasting the website url on web browser, mobile number on phone dialer and email id in mail application – all extracted from same message automatically.
Another interesting feature on Galaxy M01-Core is ‘Intelligent Photos’; it detects similar or duplicate photos and gives users suggestions to keep the best photo while discarding other photos to free up space. Galaxy M01-Core also features Dark Mode – One UI based Dark Mode integration, which is easier on the eyes and helps in battery saving. All these ‘Make for India’ features help Galaxy M01-Core deliver best-in-class performance.
Customized Android Go
The smartphone has been developed on the latest Android Go platform, which means the device comes with reimagined lightweight custom apps that are built to use less storage for Android Go OS. These customized apps make users experience light and convenience. By building a fast, smooth smartphone experience with enhanced apps, users can email, get answers, find directions, and play games faster than ever.
Prices, Variants and Availability
The smartphone will all be available across Samsung’s retail stores, Samsung Opera House, Samsung.com, and leading online portals from July 29. Also will be available in two memory variants – 1+16GB and 2+32GB priced at INR 5499 and INR 6499 respectively. Galaxy M01-Core will be available in three colors –Black, Blue, and Red.
