Xiaomi Redmi K40 series is expected to include the vanilla Redmi K40 and a Redmi K40 Pro.
China’s smartphone maker Xiaomi is working on the new handset Redmi K40 of the K-series. Many reports of this smartphone have come out. Now another report has come out in this episode, from which it has been reported that 40 of Redmi have been spotted on the certification site. However, no information has been given by the company regarding the launch of the Redmi 40 series so far.
According to an online report, Xiaomi’s upcoming phone Redmi K40 M2011K2C with a model number is listed on the network access certification site. As per the listing, the Redmi K40 will knock the market with 5G connectivity. Along with this, this device will get the Snapdragon 875 processor. Apart from this, not much information has been received on this phone. The report also mentions that the Redmi K40 will launch in China in the fourth quarter of 2020 while the Redmi K40 Pro will arrive in the first quarter of next year.
The Snapdragon 875 SoC is expected to be unveiled on December 1 as Qualcomm had sent invites for an event where it will reveal the “latest and greatest Snapdragon news”. It is possible that the new Snapdragon 7 series SoC will also be unveiled at the event.
Redmi K40 Expected Price
According to the leaked reports, the company can keep the price of Redmi K40 smartphone in the premium range. This phone can be launched in the global market by December.
Redmi K30 Racing Edition

Talking about its camera features, a centrally placed quad rear camera is given in its back, which is placed vertically. The phone has a 64MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide sensor, 5MP telephoto or depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. The phone has a dual punch-hole camera set-up for selfie. It has a 20MP primary and 2MP secondary sensor.
