JioHome customers on eligible 30 Mbps and 100 Mbps plans can claim Amazon Prime Lite free for 12 months through MyJio.
Reliance Jio has started rolling out a new entertainment benefit for JioHome customers, offering one year of Amazon Prime Lite at no additional cost on eligible 30 Mbps and 100 Mbps 3-in-1 plans. The offer is available to both new and existing JioHome customers and is being introduced as part of Jio’s 10th-anniversary celebrations. Eligible users can claim the complimentary membership through a banner inside the MyJio app.
The rollout began on September 19, 2026, and Jio is distributing the benefit to eligible customers in phases over the following two weeks.
JioHome 30 Mbps and 100 Mbps Plans Get Free Prime Lite
The new offer covers eligible JioHome 3-in-1 plans with 30 Mbps and 100 Mbps speeds. These plans combine home broadband connectivity with television and OTT entertainment benefits. Both new and existing subscribers are eligible, meaning the promotion is not restricted to customers taking a new JioHome connection.
Eligible customers will receive Amazon Prime Lite for 12 months without paying an additional subscription charge. The membership includes access to Prime Video as well as free and fast delivery benefits on eligible Amazon purchases.
The offer effectively adds an additional Amazon benefit to Jio’s entry-level and mid-range JioHome entertainment plans.
How to Claim Free Amazon Prime Lite
JioHome customers do not need to visit a store to claim the benefit. Eligible users need to open the MyJio app and access their JioHome account. A dedicated Amazon Prime Lite claim banner will appear on the MyJio homepage when the offer becomes available for that customer.
Users can tap the banner and follow the activation instructions to link or activate their Amazon account.
Importantly, the 12-month period starts from the date the customer activates the offer. It does not start from September 19, the date on which Jio began the rollout.
Because the promotion is being rolled out in phases, eligible customers may not see the claim banner immediately. Jio is expected to make the offer available to more customers during the two-week rollout.
What Does Amazon Prime Lite Include?
Amazon Prime Lite provides access to Prime Video content along with shopping-related benefits.
For eligible JioHome customers, the new 12-month offer provides access to Prime Video and free and fast delivery on eligible Amazon orders without requiring a separate payment for the complimentary membership period.
However, customers should note that this is Prime Lite rather than the standard Amazon Prime membership. The two memberships have different benefits and terms.
Jio already includes Amazon Prime Video among the OTT services available with its home entertainment offerings. Its current JioHome proposition includes 15+ OTT platforms and 1,000+ digital TV channels on eligible entertainment plans.
The new promotion therefore gives qualifying lower-speed JioHome customers a separate 12-month Prime Lite benefit.
Higher JioHome Plans Keep 24-Month Prime Lite
The new offer does not replace the longer Prime Lite benefit available with Jio’s higher-tier plans.
Customers on the Rs 888 and Rs 1,199 JioHome plans, as well as customers on plans offering 150 Mbps or higher speeds, will continue receiving the existing 24-month Amazon Prime Lite benefit.
They are not being moved to the new 12-month offer.
This creates two different Prime Lite benefit periods across JioHome plans: eligible 30 Mbps and 100 Mbps plans get 12 months under the new promotion, while specified higher-tier plans retain their existing 24-month benefit.
Jio Expands OTT Benefits to Lower-Speed Plans
The latest promotion is significant because Jio is extending an Amazon Prime Lite benefit to plans below its higher-speed broadband tiers.
JioHome already positions its broadband service as a combination of connectivity, television and OTT entertainment. Its current entertainment offering includes services such as Prime Video, Netflix, JioHotstar, SonyLIV, ZEE5, Sun NXT, Lionsgate Play and other platforms depending on the plan.
Adding a 12-month Prime Lite subscription to eligible 30 Mbps and 100 Mbps plans gives customers another reason to consider an entertainment-focused JioHome connection.
For users who regularly watch Prime Video or shop on Amazon, the additional benefit can also reduce the need to maintain a separate Prime Lite subscription during the complimentary period.

The offer should not be interpreted as a one- or two-day promotion.
Jio started the rollout on September 19, but the company is distributing the benefit to eligible customers over a two-week period. This means an eligible JioHome subscriber may receive the MyJio claim banner later than another customer on the same plan.
Customers who do not see the offer immediately can check their JioHome account in MyJio again as the rollout progresses.
The free membership clock starts only after activation, so customers do not lose part of the 12-month period simply because their account receives the offer later in the rollout.
