Honor 9A smartphone has been introduced in single storage variant 3GB RAM as well as 64GB internal storage.

Huawei‘s sub-brand Honor has launched its budget smartphone Honor 9A globally. Honor 9A smartphone has been introduced in single storage variant 3GB RAM as well as 64GB internal storage. The estimated price of the smartphone in India can be 12 thousand rupees. The Honor 9A smartphone will be available for sale at Hihnor, Amazon, and other retail stores. Customers will be able to pre-book the phone from July 1. Honor first launched this smartphone in China in March. Also, last month Honor 9A was launched in Russia. However, now customers will have to wait for the Honor 9A smartphone in India.

Specifications

Honor 9A smartphone has a 6.3-inch big screen, which will have an aspect ratio of 20: 9. MediaTek MT6765 processor will be available in the phone. The triple rear camera setup has been given on the rear panel of the phone. Its primary lens is 13MP with a 5MP wide-angle sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. An 8MP camera will be available for the phone for a selfie on the rear panel of the phone.

Talking about the operating system, Honor 9A has Magic UI 3.1 based on Android 10. Honor 9A smartphone will get a 5000mAh battery for power backup. The company claims that it offers up to 33 hours of 4G calling, up to 35 hours of video playback, and up to 37 hours of FM radio playback.

Honor 9A

Under the hood, the 9A is powered by MediaTek’s Helio P22 chipset, a midrange chip from 2018 which also appeared recently in Motorola’s e6 lineup. The device will only be offered with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, but it does have microSD card support. It’s running the latest Magic 3.1, which is based on Android 10. Honor only recently started upgrading its older flagships to Android 10, so it’s good to see the 9A is launching with the newer software onboard.

And of course, there are no Google Play services support, so you’ll have to rely on the Huawei App Gallery for all your favorite applications and games (assuming they’re on it), which is likely a dealbreaker for many. There are hacky workarounds, but you never know when those will break or become obsolete.

Expected Price and Other Feature

Having said this, the Honor entered the Indian market this year after a long gap. The company launched the Honor 9X Pro in India at a price of Rs 17,999 this year. Its rear has a 48MP triple-lens camera setup. At the same time, a 16MP pop-up camera is available on the front of the phone. This phone is equipped with a 4000mAh battery which supports 10 Watt fast charging.
