    Amazon is rolling out a new Amazon Prime Video feature that will allow users to share video clips from TV shows and movies on the platform. The clip can be shared on social media or via direct message.

The clip can be shared on social media or via direct message. This feature is currently only available on iOS and is currently only rolled out to users in the US, users can only share clips from a limited number of shows, including “The Boys” “The Wilds” “Invincible” and “Fairfax”. “includes.

    Users will get a new option named Share a Clip in Amazon Prime Video App

    While you’re watching one of these four titles, you can click the new “Share a clip” button to create a 30-second clip in the Amazon Prime Video app. Once you click the button, the streaming service will pause the show to open a screen where you can clip and edit the video. The app will then create a clip of the clip you’ve watched, so you can move the clip forward or backward in exactly the same place. You’ll also be able to preview the clip before sharing it with others. When you’re ready to share the clip, you can select the “Share” icon and either upload it or share it via Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, iMessage, Messenger, and WhatsApp.

    Amazon says that they are planning to let users share clips from their original movies and series in the coming times. The company has specially designed this feature for its users to share their content because till now no competitor platform of Amazon offers this kind of service. Netflix, Disney+, and Hulu all block users from capturing screenshots while streaming content on their platforms, and instead of blacking out images when users try to do so.

    This latest of Amazon Prime video shows that the company wants to change the way it views and shares its content. It’s worth noting that Amazon can hope to attract more users to Prime Video by encouraging its users to share clips of its competitor’s content with their friends and followers.

    Amazon says the new feature will be available for The Boys (Season One), The Wilds, Invincible, and Fairfax, but the streaming platform has promised to add more Amazon Original movies and shows later.

    Amazon’s new initiative to let users to share its content as videos is a first-of-its-kind feature in the streaming space. Amazon’s major rivals in the market, Netflix and Disney+ are not permitting its users to capture screenshots of their content.
