Sony has finally officially launched the Xperia 5 II smartphone after a long wait. Many special features have been provided on this smartphone. In addition, it can also give users great gaming experience. This smartphone is currently launched in the US and UK. However, no information has been revealed about its launch in other countries. Users can buy this smartphone offered in single storage in multiple color options.
Sony Xperia 5 II Price and Availibility
Sony Xperia 5 II has been launched in single storage variants. It has 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The price of this smartphone is EUR 899 i.e. around Rs 78,000. In the US, this smartphone will be available in Black, Blue, and Gray three color options. While in the UK, users will be able to buy it in Black, Blue, Gray, and Pink color options. However, its sale date has not been disclosed on the company’s site. But some reports have said that this smartphone will be available for sale in the US from December 4.
Sony Xperia 5 II specifications
The dual-SIM (Nano) Sony Xperia 5 II runs on Android 10. It features a 6.1-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,520 pixels) OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch scanning rate. It has a 21:9 aspect ratio and supports HDR with 100 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. The Xperia 5 II is powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 865 SoC and 8GB of RAM.
For photography, the Sony Xperia 5 II has a triple rear camera setup. The primary sensor of the phone is 12MP. Whereas 12MP secondary sensor and 12MP wide-angle lens have been given. For the convenience of video calling and selfie, you will get an 8MP front camera on this smartphone. This smartphone has a 4000mAh battery available for power backup and the company claims that this battery can be charged up to 50 percent in 30 minutes.
In terms of storage, the Sony Xperia 5 II comes with 128GB of UFS storage onboard that can be expanded via microSDXC card (up to 1TB). Connectivity options include 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth 5.1, a 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC, and a USB Type-C port for charging. There is a fingerprint sensor on the Xperia 5 II as well. The phone is backed by a 4000mAh battery with fast charging and Sony says it can be charged to 50 percent in just 30 minutes. In terms of dimensions, the phone measures 158x68x8mm and weigh 163 grams.
In terms of features, the Sony Xperia 5 II comes with 240Hz Motion Blur Reduction, DSEE Ultimate for better audio quality, IP65/68 water resistance, and Dolby Atmos support.
