Airtel has launched two of its broadband plans. It will get a free subscription to the OTT platform Amazon Prime with unlimited data. The company has tried to make the Airtel broadband plan more affordable than Jio.

Jio Fiber’s plan has recently been launched by the telecom company Jio at a cheaper price. In the competition of which Airtel has relaunched its two broadband plans. It will get a free subscription to the OTT platform Amazon Prime with unlimited data. The company has tried to make the Airtel broadband plan more affordable than Jio. For this, the company has rolled out this feature in its lowest-priced 40Mbps and 100Mbps broadband plan. However, this revised plan will be available in Airtel Thanks App for a small number of users. It has not been made live on the Airtel website.

According to an online report, the initial price of the Airtel broadband plan is Rs 499. Earlier, Amazon Prime was not offered in this plan. Amazon Prime and G5 subscription offers were offered in Airtel’s speed plans above 200Mbps, which has now been rolled out in broadband plans of Rs 589 and Rs 1099. Both these plans have been upgraded with Amazon Prime subscription. Unlimited 40Mbps speed and unlimited local / STD calls are available on the plan of Rs 589. This plan comes with an unlimited data pack with 30 days of validity. At the same time, unlimited calling and unlimited data are offered on the plan of Rs 1099. A speed of 100Mbps is offered in this plan.

Similarly, Rs. 799 broadband plan has been reportedly revised to Rs. 943, and it offers Amazon Prime subscription as well. This plan comes bundled with unlimited data, up to 100Mbps speed, and unlimited local/STD calls. It also comes with an Airtel Xstream app subscription. An online report says while the app lists the price of this plan as Rs. 1,099, its actual price at the checkout is Rs. 943.

The report also says that the Amazon Prime benefit is only offered on these revised plans if purchased on a monthly basis, and it is not listed for semi-annual or annual purchases. These newly revised plans haven’t been rolled out broadly and are live for very few people. Existing Airtel Xstream Fiber users may have more chances of seeing this in the Airtel Thanks app than potential new customers.
