OnePlus has launched the N6 Lite in India as its latest budget smartphone, bringing a 7,000mAh battery, 120Hz display, Aqua Touch technology and MIL-STD-810H durability to the sub-Rs 17,000 segment.
OnePlus N6 Lite price and availability
The OnePlus N6 Lite is priced at Rs 16,999 in India and comes in a single configuration with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The phone is available in Midnight Hype and Neo Green colour options through OnePlus’ online channels, Amazon India, OnePlus Experience Stores and select retail outlets.
Selected bank EMI offers can bring the effective purchase price down to Rs 16,249, according to launch-day listings. The phone went on open sale in India on September 22.
7,000mAh battery is the main highlight
The OnePlus N6 Lite packs a 7,000mAh battery, with OnePlus claiming up to three days of typical usage on a single charge. The company also quotes up to 26.8 hours of video playback, 29.9 hours of Google Maps navigation and nearly 50 hours of voice calls under its stated testing conditions.
The battery supports 15W wired charging and 5W reverse wired charging, allowing the phone to supply power to compatible accessories and other devices. OnePlus also says the battery can retain more than 80% of its health after 1,600 charging cycles.
120Hz display with Aqua Touch
The smartphone features a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display with a 1570 x 720-pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel can reach up to 900 nits of brightness under the specified high-brightness mode.
OnePlus’ Aqua Touch technology is designed to maintain touch responsiveness when the display has moisture, water droplets or oil on its surface, which could be useful in everyday outdoor conditions.
Unisoc T7250 processor and expandable storage
The OnePlus N6 Lite is powered by the octa-core Unisoc T7250 chipset and comes with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Storage can be expanded by up to 2TB using a microSD card. The phone also supports up to 8GB of virtual RAM.
For photography, the handset has a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. OnePlus also includes AI-based tools such as AI Clear Face and AI Eraser.
Durable build and Android 16 software
The OnePlus N6 Lite carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance and has MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability certification. The handset measures 8.95mm thick and weighs about 215 grams despite its large battery.
It runs OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16 out of the box. OnePlus is also promoting a 36-Month Fluency Protection feature aimed at maintaining the phone’s everyday performance over three years. A 3.5mm headphone jack is included as well.

With the N6 Lite, OnePlus is putting battery capacity and durability ahead of higher-end hardware specifications in its latest budget offering. The combination of a 7,000mAh battery, 120Hz display, expandable storage and ruggedness features places the phone directly in a highly competitive part of India’s affordable smartphone market.
At Rs 16,999, the N6 Lite is also positioned as the most affordable OnePlus smartphone currently available in India, giving the company a new entry point below the recently introduced N6.
