    Vu company launched four models of Vu Bezel-Less Ultra edge 4K television 43-inch 50-inch 55-inch and 65-inch. These TVs are priced between Rs 25999 and Rs 48999.

    Indian television manufacturing company Vu ​​Television launched a long-range Vu Bezel-Less 4K Android TV of the premium segment in India. The company launched four models of Ultra edge 4K television 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch. These TVs are priced between Rs 25,999 and Rs 48,999. All models of Vu Television will have pre-loaded apps like Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Youtube as well as Google Play Store. All these models will be sold on the Amazon India website from June 11, 2020. Also, this TV will be available for offline sales soon.

    Price and availability

    Vu is calling its the Ultra 4K Tvs and the range includes models across various sizes. Vu is bringing the new TVs in 43-inches, 50-inches, 55-inches and 65-inches. Prices start at Rs 25,999 for the smaller model while the biggest 65-inch model costs Rs 48,999. The entire range is priced competitively against Xiaomi’s Mi TV 4 series and the upcoming OnePlus affordable smart TVs.

    Specifications

    Ultra-edge 4K (3840/2160 pixels) DLED (Direct Display) is available from Vu. The Vu Ultra 4K TV model will be based on Android TV9. TV has a Google Assistant, which will support Hindi and English languages. Apart from this, the quad-core Soc has been used on the TV, which will come with Mali-470 GPU, 2GB RAM, and 16GB storage. Talking about connectivity, it has Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth V5.0, HDMI port, two USB ports, an earphone jack. The TV will get 40% to enhance brightness, backlight controller, upbeat surround sound, pro-picture calibration.

    The company claims that a new pro picture calibration has been provided on the TV, which will allow the viewer to have technical control on the TV. These controls will be – Gamma Correction, Noise Reduction, Color Temperature, HDMI Dynamic Range and will host other technical features. At the same time, a new upbeat surround feature will be available from Vu, which will make the user feel like a stadium at home. This feature can make cricket and other sports viewing experience unique. Apart from this, the parent block feature will be provided in the TV, so that it can be found out what your child was watching on TV when he was not at home.

    The remote controller for these Vu Bezel-Less TVs also come with a minimalist button layout without skipping on essential keys. As part of the smart features, there are dedicated buttons for Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, Hotstar, and Google Play. The controller can also take voice commands. For the audio part, Vu is using stereo speakers with a total output rating of 30W. There’s support for Dolby Audio format and DTS Surround Sound in these TVs.

    Vu Bezel-Less TValso gives in some additional features such as a Cricket Mode and Parental controls over the regular Android TV features.

    At the launch, Vu Technologies chairman and CEO Devita Sarif said that Vu became India’s number one television brand in May last month. During this time the company sold around 50,000 TV. The company was the recipient of more than 1000 revenue with sales of around 2 million TV sets in FY 2019. Sarif said that this sale proves that the quality, innovation, feature, and extreme experience of our product is very good.
