    Tata Sky has made the Classroom service absolutely free, giving its customers a New Year gift. The service has 700 animated concept learning videos related to maths and science. Which can now be used without any charge.

    Tata Sky has made it clear by announcing officially that now Classroom service will be absolutely free for all customers. Tata Sky provides educational content on TV through its Classroom service. This service provides a learning facility to students from all over India with the click of a button from the remote and now it can be availed for free. Let’s know about the details of classroom service.

    COVID-19 has brought about a major change in classroom learning and education. Where earlier children used to go to school every day, now education is being given at home. The most important contribution to this is technology. With the help of which children are now taking classes on online platforms and now online classes have become a common thing. At the same time, Tata Sky has also made its popular Classroom service free for all users. Now users will get free education content in the Tata Sky Classroom service. The service is powered by Tata ClassEdge, a pioneer in digital education, which can help students across India learn through the click of a button on their TV remote.

    Having said this, the Tata Sky Classroom service started in the year 2016 and it has 700 animated concept learning videos. All these videos are from Maths and Science which are quite useful. The best part of this service is that it does not have advertisements, which means that you will not disturb the advertisements during your studies. This service is available in both English and Hindi languages.

    Pallavi Puri, Chief Commercial and Content Officer, Tata Sky, says that ‘online education in India is currently beset with many challenges, mainly among them the lack of adequate infrastructure. With the vast reach of Tata Sky, millions of children will get quality education for free through their television sets. The service is mapped with the syllabus of the CBSE School for Children and delivered in an interesting story-led format.

    Tata Sky Classroom enables learning of the core concepts of Science & Maths in an engaging manner and through animated stories-led videos so the child has a clear understanding of the fundamental principles. The service currently offers curriculum-based content to class 5th till 8th for Maths and Science and is available in both Hindi and English languages. In addition to the video lessons, students also get fun curriculum-based games to help reinforce the learning from the videos.
