    Jio tops in 4G downloading speed

    Reliance Jio has the highest 4G downloading speed of 21.9 Mbps in October 2021. According to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) report, the average 4G downloading speed of Reliance Jio has increased by 1Mbps to 21.9 Mbps in October 2021 as compared to the month of September.

    Reliance Jio is not only the largest telecom company in India, but has also become India’s top 4G speed offering telecom company. Reliance Jio has the highest 4G downloading speed of 21.9 Mbps in October 2021. According to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) report, the average 4G downloading speed of Reliance Jio has increased by 1Mbps to 21.9 Mbps in October 2021 as compared to the month of September. Having said this, in the month of September, Jio’s 4G downloading speed was 20.9 Mbps. Talking about 4G downloading speed, Airtel and Vi are left far behind in this list.

    Airtel and VI 4G Downloading Speed

    Airtel’s 4G downloading speed has been 8.7 Mbps lower than Jio. Airtel’s 4G downloading speed in October 2021 has been 13.2 Mbps. Similarly, Vi’s 4G download speed has been 6.3Mbps lower than Jio. Vi had a top downloading speed of 15.6 Mbps in October. In this way, Airtel has reached the third position in terms of 4G downloading speed. While Vi is second on this list. According to data from Vi, the company’s average 4G download speed increased by 1.2 Mbps in the month of October.

    The download speed helps consumers access content from the internet, while upload speed helps them send or share pictures or videos to their contacts. According to Trai, there was an improvement in the 4G upload speed of the three telecom private operators in September.

    Reliance Jio

    Vodafone Idea maintained an average upload speed of 7.2 Mbps in September. It was followed by Reliance Jio with an upload speed of 6.2 Mbps and Bharti Airtel 4.5 Mbps. State-owned telecom operator BSNL has rolled out 4G service in select areas, but its network speed did not figure in the Trai chart.

    The average speed is computed by Trai based on the data it collects across India with the help of its MySpeed application on a real-time basis.

    Reliance Jio

    Vi beats 4G uploading speed

    Bharti Airtel is also at number three with 5.2 Mbps in average 4G upload speed like downloads. On the other hand, Vodafone-Idea (Vi) has emerged as India’s leading telecom company in terms of average upload speed in October with 7.6 Mbps. While Jio ranks second in the average 4G uploading speed chart. The uploading speed of Reliance Jio for the month of October has been 6.4 Mbps.
