    Work@Home Plan

Due to Coronavirus, many people are working from home i.e. Work From Home and for this BSNL has introduced WorkHome plan.

The state-run telecom company BSNL is currently working on keeping itself two steps ahead of other operators. In this sequence, the company has introduced a new plan in its broadband segment called Work @ Home. Actually, due to Coronavirus, many people are doing work from home i.e. work from home and for this BSNL has introduced Work @ Home plan.

    BSNL Work@Home Plan

The most important thing is that this plan is absolutely free. The company has made this plan available in all circles including Andaman and Nicobar. However, the company has placed a condition in it. So let’s know about these condition and plan details:

Details of BSNL Work @ Home Plan

First, let’s talk about the price of this plan. As we mentioned, this plan is being given for free. But only the existing users of the company will be able to use it. It is very important for these users to have a landline connection. In this plan, users will be given 5 GB of data per day with a speed of 10 Mbps. After the end of daily data, users will be given speeds up to 1 Mbps. We talked to the customer care of BSNL about this news and took information from them about the terms of this plan. Let’s know what he has to say:

According to the customer care executive of BSNL, this plan will be given only to those users who already have BSNL’s landline connection. Landline connection users will be given this plan when they get a new broadband connection. This plan will be given for one month. After this is over, if the user does not do any recharge, then any plan with the minimum amount will be activated on their connection. Apart from this, if many users buy a new landline connection, then they will not be valid for this plan.

The BSNL Work@Home plan doesn’t have any download and uploads limits. There are also no installation charges to get broadband access on a landline connection. Moreover, voice calls for customers availing the new plan will be applicable as per their existing landline plans.

BSNL is offering the Work@Home plan for one month from the date of activation. Although the plan is available for existing BSNL landline subscribers, new customers can opt for the latest offering after activating any of the regular landline plans by the telecom operator. To subscribe to the new plan, BSNL landline customers need to dial toll-free number 1800-345-1504.

New customers opting for copper cable-based connection will not have to pay even installation charges but will need to buy a modem for the service, BSNL officials said.

BSNL Director (CFA) Vivek Banzal said in a statement,

Broadband service is being offered free of charge for one month to all citizens across the country, who have BSNL landline and do not have any broadband so that they can use this service either to work from home, educate from home or anything that can minimize the need to move outdoor.

The plan is offering up to 10 Mbps down speed and the data has been capped at 5 GB per day and once the data limit has been exhausted, data speed will be capped at 1 Mbps.

Another BSNL official said the scheme is also applicable for new customers and after a month of usage, all the subscribers will be moved to paid plans. The official said installation charge will be applicable for customers opting for optical fiber connectivity.
