    BSNL Bharat Fibre Broadband Plan Is Now Offering 2TB Data

    BSNL has launched Bharat Fiber Broadband plan and under this plan, users can avail 2TB data with 100Mbps speed.

    An Indian state-owned telecommunications company BSNL has launched a new broadband plan under Bharat Fiber to provide better facilities to its customers. The price of this plan is Rs 2,999 and users will get the benefit of 2TB data with 100Mbps speed. Currently, this new plan has been launched in Tamil Nadu and Chennai circles but it is expected that it will be made available in other circles soon. Many attractive benefits are also being given to the users under the Bharat Fibre Broadband plan of Rs 2,999.

    Talking about the benefits available in the Bharat Fibre Broadband plan of Rs 2,999, 2TB data per month is being provided in it. In this plan, users can avail of 100Mbps speed. Apart from this, unlimited voice calling will also be available on any network. At the same time, with this plan, users will also be given a free subscription of Amazon Prime, which costs Rs 999.

    BSNL’s Rs 2,999 Bharat Fiber Broadband can compete with the already existing JioFiber plans in the market. The JioFiber plan is priced at Rs 2,499 and in this plan, users can avail 1500GB data with 500Mbps speed. While 2TB data with 100Mbps is being given in BSNL’s plan.

    Talking about other broadband plans of BSNL, the Rs 555 plan is giving 150GB of data with a speed of 20Mbps and in this, consumers can also avail unlimited voice calling on the BSNL network. Apart from this, 300GB data with 50Mbps speed will be available for Rs 749. After the data limit is over, the speed will be reduced to 1Mbps. Apart from this, 500GB data with 50Mbps speed is being given in the company’s 777-rupee broadband plan.

    Bharat Fiber (FTTH) is a unique technology being deployed by BSNL for the first time in India. The fiber connectivity having unlimited bandwidth and state of the art technology provides fix access platform to deliver the high-speed broadband from 256 Kbps to 100 Mbps, IPTV having a different type of content like HDTV and future coming 3D TV and range of voice telephony services. It provides a comprehensive solution for the IP leased line, internet, Closed User Group (CUG), MPLS-VPN, VoIP, video conferencing, video calls, etc whatever the services available on the internet platform, bandwidth on demand can be delivered by this connectivity to the without changing the access fiber and home device.

    Customers will get a CPE called Home Optical Network Termination (HONT) consist of 4X100 Mpbs Ethernet ports and 2 normal telephone ports. Each 100 Mbps ports will provide broadband, IPTVs, IP Video calls and leased line, etc as required by the customers. The customer will get a power back unit having a full load backup of four hours and a normal backup of three days. This power backup will be AC input and connecting to the HONT on 12V DC.

    Connectivity via Bharat Fiber (FTTH)

    BSNL will extend fiber from its nearest Central Office (CO) location directly or through franchisee and install HONT and battery backup at the customer’s identified locations. The services such as Voice, Broadband, IPTV, etc. will be enabled as per the customer”s request plans for the same.

    The services over Bharat Fiber (FTTH):

    Basic Internet Access Service controlled and uncontrolled from 256Kbps to 1000Mbps.

    • TV over IP Service (MPEG2).
    • Video on Demand (VoD)(MPEG4) play like VCR
    • Audio on Demand Service
    • Bandwidth on Demand (User and or service configurable)
    • Remote Education
    • Point to Point and Point to Multi-Point Video Conferencing, virtual classroom
    • Voice and Video Telephony over IP: Connection under control of centrally located soft switches
    • Interactive Gaming
    • VPN on broadband
    • Dial-up VPN Service
    • Virtual Private LAN Service (VPLS)
