    Aarogya Setu App

Electronics and Information Technology Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad has tweeted and announced that Aarogya Setu App has been downloaded 60 million times in India.

The Government of India launched the Aarogya Setu app a few days ago. Recently, NITI Aayog tweeted that this app has set a record. It has been downloaded 5 crore times in just 13 days. At the same time, now Electronics and Information Technology Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad has tweeted and announced that this app has been downloaded 60 million times in India. Through this app, people can be tracked to corona infected patients. It also sends an alert to users about this. Ever since this app was launched, it has been extremely popular among people until now, which can be estimated from its downloads.Aarogya Setu App

Ravi Shankar Prasad tweeted from his Twitter account. A 25-second video has been shared in it. It has been told in this tweet that the Aarogya Setu app has been downloaded 60 million times. It shows that every Indian is fighting a battle against Covid_19 under the leadership and guidelines of Narendra Modi. India is showing the world the way to fight against this epidemic.

Privacy settings of Aarogya Setu updated: Recently the privacy policy of this app has been updated by the government. It has also explained how this app works. According to the new policy, this app asks for Bluetooth and location access to the user’s device. It also asks for information like name, phone number, age, gender, profession and travel history. It alerts users when they go to a coronavirus patient. This app has provided support for a total of 11 languages including Hindi, English, and Marathi. It can be downloaded from both Android and iOS platforms.Aarogya Setu App

Aarogya Setu app to get e-pass feature soon

To give you some context, an e-pass allows people to travel within the city for accessing essential services. Up until now, people could get an e-pass issued by sending a message on WhatsApp or via online means. Now, it looks like the government is gearing to roll out the feature to the Aarogya Setu app soon.

Earlier this feature was listed as ‘Coming Soon’ in the Indian’s government’s COVID-19 spread tracker app. But now, the app shows ‘No e-pass available’ with a message that the e-pass, when issued, would appear in the e-pass tab of the app, indicating that feature would be rolled out to the app soon.

60 million users for #AarogyaSetuApp also reflects the commitment with which every Indian is fighting #Covid_19 shoulder to shoulder under the leadership and guidance of PM @narendramodi Ji.
