The Galaxy A70s could be an iterative upgrade to the Galaxy A70 which featured decent specifications for the asking price of Rs 28,990
Samsung Galaxy A70s is confirmed to launch in India by the end of this month. The Galaxy A70s will come as a successor to the Galaxy A70 that was launched in India earlier this year for Rs 28,990. The Galaxy A70s will sport a 64MP rear-facing camera, similar to the Realme XT.
Samsung recently launched the Galaxy A30s and Galaxy A10s smartphones in India and the next in the line would be the Galaxy A70s. After the 48MP camera phones, it seems like the next array of mid-range phones will come with a 64MP camera sensor from Samsung. To recall, Samsung launched the ISOCELL GW1 64MP camera sensor earlier this year and it’s being used by manufacturers like Xiaomi and Realme on their smartphones.
Samsung Galaxy A70s: What to Expect?
The Galaxy A70s could be an iterative upgrade to the Galaxy A70 which featured decent specifications for the asking price of Rs 28,990. The Galaxy A70s will likely have a 64MP triple camera setup on the back that replaces the 32MP setup we found the Galaxy A70. According to sources close to IANS, the Galaxy A70s will come in two variants and the prices will start from Rs 30,000. So it seems like the Galaxy A70s will have an increased price over the Galaxy A70.
Just a few days ago, Samsung launched the Galaxy A50s, Galaxy A30s and Galaxy A10s smartphones in India. The Galaxy A50s is also a minor upgrade to the Galaxy A50, but there are some noticeable changes like the 48MP rear camera and refined design. It’s also said that the upcoming Galaxy A70s will also have a similar design language as the Galaxy A50s.

Samsung launched the Galaxy A70 earlier this year in India with decent specifications on board. The Galaxy A70 featured a massive 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with an in-display scanner on the front. Underneath, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 Mobile Platform, clubbed with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Notably, the Galaxy A70 arrived in a single variant, but the Galaxy A70s is said to ship in two variants starting at Rs 30,000.
The Galaxy A70 had triple rear cameras of 32MP primary sensor, 8MP wide-angle sensor, and a 5MP depth sensor. On the front side as well, the Galaxy A70 packed a 32MP selfie camera. It ran OneUI based on Android 9 Pie out of the box and it will receive Android 10 update in the coming days. Lastly, Samsung has added a beefy 4500mAh battery inside the Galaxy A70.
The specs of the Galaxy A70s will pretty much remain similar to the Galaxy A70, but we will see an upgraded design and camera system.
