In the new slab of D2h, users will be able to watch more than 200 channels at Rs 150 (without GST) per month. With this new slab, 220 channels are now being offered to users against 200.
DTH service provider D2h has launched a new NCF slab for its users. In this new slab, users will be able to watch more than 200 channels at Rs 150 (without GST) per month. With this new slab, 220 channels are now being offered to users against 200. To subscribe to more than 220 channels, users will have to pay an additional Rs 160 (without GST) as NCF (Network Capacity Fee). The new NCF slab of D2h is based on NTO 2.0 implemented by TRAI from 1 March. In view of the challenge being faced by Tata Sky and Airtel Digital TV, D2h owned by Dish TV has introduced this new slab so that users can watch more channels.
Based on NTO 2.0 implemented by TRAI, DTH service provider is providing 200 free-to-air SD channels to its users at a payment of Rs 130 (without GST) NCF per month. Users have to pay Rs 130 + Rs 23.40 (GST), ie a total of Rs 153.40 per month to watch 200 channels. In the new NCF slab, 220 free-to-air SD channels are being offered to users for Rs 150. For this, users will have to pay Rs 150 + Rs 27 (GST), total Rs 177. Users watching more than 220 channels will have to pay an additional Rs 160 per month in addition to Rs 150.
What will be the benefit of New NCF?
In the new NCF slab, users will no longer have to pay an additional Rs 160 (without GST) per month to watch more than 200 channels. They can choose either an NCF slab of Rs 130 (without GST) or Rs 150 (without GST). If users want to subscribe to more than 220 channels, then they have to pay Rs 150 (without GST) per month, plus an additional Rs 160 (without GST) per month. Apart from this, users taking multi-TV connections will have to pay Rs 50 per month for every connection.
