Apple is offering instant cashback and EMI benefits on selected iPhones, Macs, iPads and accessories during its India festive campaign. The biggest savings depend on the product, eligible bank card and whether buyers are comparing Apple’s official offer with a retailer’s sale price or an exchange-based deal.
Apple’s India website is promoting festive offers with up to Rs 15,000 in instant cashback on selected products and No Cost EMI options. The campaign was active from 12 October 2026, but the advertised maximum does not apply to every device. Buyers should compare the product’s current selling price, the eligible bank benefit and any exchange value before deciding where to purchase.
Apple festive cashback offers by product category
Apple’s official “Ways to Buy” page lists fixed cashback amounts for several product families. These are more useful for budgeting than the headline maximum, although the applicable amount still depends on the selected model and offer terms.
| Product category | Advertised instant cashback |
|---|---|
| iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max | Rs 7,000 |
| iPhone Air | Rs 5,000 |
| iPhone 17 and iPhone 17e | Rs 1,000 |
| MacBook Air 13-inch and 15-inch | Rs 9,000 |
| MacBook Pro 14-inch and 16-inch | Up to Rs 15,000 |
| iPad Air | Rs 5,000 |
| Standard iPad and iPad mini | Rs 3,000 |
| iPad Pro | Rs 5,000 |
The amounts are Apple’s advertised offers for eligible products, not automatic discounts available to every customer. The applicable bank, product configuration and transaction conditions should be checked on Apple’s website before payment.
How much could an iPhone buyer save?
Apple lists the iPhone 17 at Rs 99,900 on its India store, with a listed instant cashback offer of Rs 1,000. On that basis, a qualifying buyer would pay an effective Rs 98,900 before considering any trade-in credit or other applicable benefit.
The comparison changes when retailers offer larger discounts. During the current festive sale, Flipkart listed the 256GB iPhone 17 at Rs 84,999 before its eligible card and exchange benefits. A Rs 2,000 card discount could bring the price to Rs 82,999 for a buyer who qualifies, without exchanging an old phone. The lowest advertised figure of Rs 43,599 reported by The Economic Times included Rs 36,400 in exchange value for an iPhone 15, along with other offers.
Reliance Digital’s reported festive price for the same iPhone 17 configuration was Rs 79,899, with a Rs 3,000 bank cashback and an exchange bonus of up to Rs 8,000. Its reported effective price of Rs 68,899 depends on qualifying for those benefits and does not include the value of the old phone in the same way as Flipkart’s lowest advertised figure.
These are not directly comparable final prices: the retailer listings were reported on 8 October and offers may change. The figures nevertheless illustrate why buyers should separate the listed sale price, bank discount, exchange bonus and old-device value rather than treating the lowest promotional number as the amount everyone will pay.
Mac and iPad buyers should compare the same configuration
Apple advertises up to Rs 9,000 cashback on selected MacBook Air models and up to Rs 15,000 on eligible MacBook Pro models. For an iPad purchase, the listed cashback is Rs 3,000 on the standard iPad and iPad mini, and Rs 5,000 on the iPad Air and iPad Pro.
Retailers may advertise lower prices on particular configurations, especially older generations or models with different storage and connectivity options. A lower price on an older iPad Air, for example, should not be treated as a direct saving against a newer model unless the chip, storage, screen size and connectivity match. The same applies to MacBooks, where memory and storage upgrades can substantially change the price.
For a fair comparison, shoppers should match the exact model, screen size, storage, connectivity and generation. They should then deduct only the bank offer they can actually claim and keep exchange value separate.
No Cost EMI is a payment option, not an extra discount
Apple offers No Cost EMI for eligible products and cards, with available tenures varying by product and issuer. EMI availability does not mean every purchase receives the maximum cashback, and customers should confirm whether both benefits can be combined for the selected product and card.
Apple’s terms say instant cashback is calculated on the eligible transaction amount after trade-in credit and other deductions. Cashback can also be limited by a maximum amount and by the number of eligible orders allowed within a rolling 90-day period. The company and card issuers may revise or withdraw offers, so the terms shown at checkout are decisive.
Buyers should also compare the total payable amount under No Cost EMI with the upfront price. Regular EMI can include interest, while No Cost EMI depends on the applicable promotion and issuer conditions.
Where should buyers purchase Apple products?
Apple’s official store can be attractive for buyers who want a direct purchase, Apple support and a clearly stated cashback offer. Amazon, Flipkart and authorised retailers may be cheaper for specific models during festive sales, particularly when the buyer qualifies for a bank discount. Exchange offers can lower the effective price further, but the value depends on the old device’s model, condition and eligibility.
As of 12 October, Apple’s festive offers are worth checking, but the headline cashback should not be mistaken for a universal price cut. Buyers should compare the final checkout amount for the same configuration, verify the card and EMI conditions, and avoid counting the full value of an old phone as a discount on the new device.
