Custom notification sounds feature in Telegram

The messaging app has rolled out a new feature in which you can set any sound as your notification tone. This feature is called custom notification sounds. With the help of these tones, users get the option to set custom alerts in the app. Let us tell you that for this, users will be able to use any 300KB audio file or five second voice message. You can use the Sounds setting option of the app to access it.

    Custom Mute Durations in Telegram

With the help of this feature of the messaging app, users can pause or mute notifications for a certain period of time. With the help of this feature, users will be able to turn off their notifications for one hour, two hours, one week, two weeks or up to three months. If users want, they can also silence the notification, for which they only have to disable the sound.

    Auto Delete Message

The messaging platform has also simplified the auto delete message option. Now this feature offers options of durations like two days, three weeks or four months. After selecting these options, the sent messages are automatically deleted at the specified time. To enable this feature, you have to go to the chat info page and tap on the three dots shown at the top.

    Message translation and PiP mode

The messaging app has upgraded the message translation feature found in iOS. This feature can now translate messages into several new languages, including Ukrainian. Apart from this, the messaging app has also made improvements in the picture-in-picture mode. Having said this, now with this mode it has become easy to control the window appearing on the screen. Users will be able to change the size of the PiP window by pinching in the Android app and it can be closed by tapping on the X.
