    The country’s leading digital payment platform Phonepe has made it clear that users will not have to pay any fee for making UPI money transfer offline and online payments. These services of the platform are completely free for the users.

These services are completely free for the users. The company says that it will not charge users any kind of current and future charges for any kind of transaction.

    In a statement issued by PhonePe, it has been said that the company is charging a processing fee of Re 1 on recharge of Rs 51 to 100 and Rs 2 on recharge of more than Rs 100 from select users on an experimental basis. Whereas users will not have to pay any kind of charge on recharge costing less than Rs 50.

    Charge will be taken on bill payments

    According to the digital payment company, bill payments made through credit cards will be charged. This is the rule of the company. Many other payment apps also charge this type of charge. The company recently announced cashback up to Rs 50 on prepaid mobile recharge. The company said that users recharging through the PhonePe app will get cashback on three recharges of more than Rs 51.

    Having said this, at present there are about 325 million users connected to Phonepe. Through this platform, users can make money transfer and receive, mobile recharge, DTH, and payments at retail stores. Not only this, but users also get the facility to buy gold on PhonePe. 22 million merchant outlets are also connected to this platform.

    PhonePe users can send and receive money, recharge mobile, DTH, data cards, pay at stores, make utility payments, buy gold and make investments via this platform. PhonePe forayed into financial services in 2017 with the launch of Gold providing users with a safe and convenient option to buy 24-karat gold securely on its platform.
