The OnePlus 7T will be launching in India in less than 48 hours and the company continues to share details about the smartphone

Chinese smartphone brand, OnePlus, has now confirmed that the upcoming OnePlus 7T will be the first device to come with Android 10 out of the box. OnePlus will be launching the 7T in India on September 26 alongside the much-anticipated OnePlus TV which will feature a QLED panel, 50W speakers and more.

The OnePlus 7T already confirmed to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset, which brings marginal improvements over the Snapdragon 855 SoC we saw on the OnePlus 7 series. The OnePlus 7T Pro will also come with Android 10 out of the box, but it will be launching on October 10. Right now, we don’t have details regarding the OnePlus 7T Pro on whether it’s reaching the Indian market or not.OnePlus 7T

OnePlus 7T to Come With OxygenOS 10.0 Based on Android 10

Just a few days ago, OnePlus rolled out the OxygenOS 10.0 update based on Android 10 to the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro smartphones. Android 10 brings several new features including the Dark Theme, advanced privacy controls & location controls, new gesture navigation and Smart Reply. All these features are already available with OxygenOS 10.0 on the OnePlus 7 series. The OnePlus 7T series may also come with OxygenOS 10.0 software version built on top of Android 10, but we may see some exclusive features being introduced by the company, as always.

“We’re thrilled to offer Android 10, the latest software version, for our upcoming OnePlus 7T. OnePlus will be the first smartphone manufacturer to preload Android 10 with Google’s apps and services on their latest device. Our ‘Never Settle’ mindset ensures we are constantly seeking new ways to share the latest technology, giving our community the best ‘fast and smooth’ experience possible,” said Pete Lau, Founder and CEO of OnePlus.

It’s expected that OnePlus will announce a slew of new camera features including an ultra-slow-motion video recording feature. The features which will be introduced with OnePlus 7T series may also be rolled out to older OnePlus phones with capable hardware.

OnePlus 7T: What We Know So Far?

The OnePlus 7T will be launching in India in less than 48 hours. The smartphone is a major upgrade over the OnePlus 7 that was introduced in India back in May this year. The OnePlus 7T already confirmed to have the triple rear camera setup and rumours indicate sensors of 48MP, 16MP, and 12MP. On the front, we may finally see an upgraded 20MP shooter for selfies and video calls. Also, the OnePlus 7T will feature a 90Hz refresh rate and 20:9 aspect ratio, so it will be a bit wider than the OnePlus 7 that featured 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

Underneath, it will have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset, clubbed with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. There will be a slightly bigger battery this time around and the phone will offer Warp Charge 30T, which will be a significant upgrade over the OnePlus 7 that arrived with 20W fast charging support. Lastly, OnePlus will launch the 7T in two color options- Glacier Blue & Frosted Silver.
