OnePlus previously confirmed that the smart TV will be available on Amazon in India. Now a new Amazon teaser suggests that the smart TV will be available during the upcoming Great Indian Festival sale. Possibly that will be the first sale of the OnePlus smart TV in India. Amazon is yet to reveal the sale dates of the Great Indian Festival sale. Most possibly the sale will kick off on the same day as the Flipkart Big Billion Days sale, September 29. Take this with a pinch of salt as Amazon is yet to reveal the sale date.
The e-commerce giant has listed several brands under the New launches section and the smart TV logo is also a part of it. This clearly suggests that the TV will be available on Amazon during the upcoming festive sale. Ahead of the India launch, the company has revealed several details about the OnePlus smart LED TV. The company has been teasing the TV for quite some time.
So far the company has announced that the smart TV will comes with eight speakers and Dolby Atmos. This means expect the OnePlus TV to deliver great sound experience.OnePlus has also confirmed that the smart TV will come with a 55-inch screen, QLED panel, Dolby Vision, 4K resolution, and slim bezels all around. Similar to smartphones the smart TV will also sport premiums design. The company has also revealed a photo of the TV remote that will come bundled with the smart led TV.
The picture suggests that smart TV remote sports a metal design and includes a Google assistant button. It further shows the minimal and simple design of the OnePlus TV remote with just five buttons including volume up and down keys, Google assistant, OnePlus TV button, power off, back button, and some more. The same photo also shows the remote with Type C port this means the users will need to recharge the remote for it to function.
