Which is very similar to the Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 recently launched in the global market. Also in the post, it is written that the company will also launch an ultra-cool product on 8 May. It is quite clear from this that the company is about to launch Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 in India.
Xiaomi already sells Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 in various markets priced at Euro 80 (approximately Rs 6,600). The India pricing is expected to be comparatively lower, which will help the product compete with other truly wireless earbuds available in the country including the Realme Buds Air, which are priced at Rs 3,999.
Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 sport an Apple AirPods like design that sits inside the ear. Some of the key features of the product are Bluetooth 5.0 support, 14.2mm drivers, support for smart voice assistants like Google Assistant and Siri.
The device runs the LHDC Bluetooth codec, which is similar to Qualcomm’s aptX and Sony’s LDAC Bluetooth codecs.
The earphones feature an AirPods-like earpiece design with an outer-ear fit and 14.2mm drivers. Interestingly, the Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 support Bluetooth 5.0 and the LHDC Bluetooth codec, which is an uncommon competitor to Qualcomm’s aptX and Sony’s LDAC Bluetooth codecs.
The main product launch during Xiaomi’s event on May 8 will be the Mi 10 smartphone. Xiaomi is returning to the Indian market with a true flagship launch after a long hiatus, during which it was focusing on affordable and value-driven flagship smartphones such as the Redmi K20 Pro and Poco F1. The Mi 10 features a 108-megapixel primary camera and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC.
