    The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 comes with a bevy of upgrades from the Redmi Note 7. This smartphone features an impressive 48MP Quad Camera Array that combines a powerful 48MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro lens, which allows you to capture a wide range of different pictures.     Expanding Redmi’s footprint on 8 Series smartphones in India, Xiaomi has now launched two more smartphones in India. The new devices – Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro, come with quad cameras, more storage and RAM, along with other features. The highlight feature of the Redmi Note 8 Pro is the 64-megapixel quad cameras, whereas the Redmi Note 8 comes with 48-megapixel quad rear cameras. Here is all you need to know.

    Aura Design

    The Redmi Note 8 comes with a new Aura Fluid Design, that is stylishly crafted to suit the modern Indian customer. The 2.5D reflective glass back is distinct and gives it a bold finish.

    The all-new range of colors include Space Black, Neptune Blue and Moonlight White. With small chin and bezels and a 90% high screen-to-body ratio, the 16cm (6.3) Full High-Definition+ Display offers a rich visual experience.

    Camera Upgrade

    48MP Ultra-high resolution sensor, Capture beautiful images with each detail richly enhanced. Every part of the image is capturing sharp and clear. There are a total of four cameras at the back of the phone, which includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor. The rest of the cameras are an 8-megapixel 120-degree ultra-wide lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens.

    There is also a 2-megapixel depth camera sensor for Portrait shots. The device also comes with an improved night mode to offer users a better low-light photography experience. On the front, one will find a 13-megapixel camera for capturing selfies. It also offers support for features like AI beautify Portrait mode and AI scene detection.

    Furthermore, the smartphone is kept alive by a 4,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging device and get full charge in just 2 hours.  With the new Redmi device, you also get a USB Type-C port. The company has added Super linear speakers in the device which has the 1217 super linear speakers are designed to deliver unmatched sound quality. With auto cleaning functionality, sound is never compromised. Moreover, it features a splash-proof and dust-proof design, similar to other Redmi phones.

    Redmi Note 8 smartphone allows to use dual SIM cards and features a dedicated microSD card slot with up to 512GB expandable storage.

    Redmi Note 8 comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back to protect from accidental falls and drops and Protected by P2i to repel accidental spills and light rains.

    Xiaomi Redmi Note 8: Pricing and Availability

    The Redmi Note 8 comes in two variants – 4GB+64GB, priced at Rs 9,999, and the 6GB+128GB variant that will retail at Rs 12,999. The phone will be available for purchase starting October 21 at 12 PM on official MI website.
