Currently, it is listed with the codename J18s. Earlier in March this year, information about Xiaomi’s first foldable smartphone Mi MIX Fold has been leaked. However, now the company is preparing to launch its second foldable smartphone.
The phone can be launched by the fourth quarter i.e. by the end of the year. This handset will have an inward and outward folding display, the phone will come with a high refresh rate. Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset can be supported in the phone.
Xiaomi J18s Expected Specifications
For power backup, the Xiaomi J18s will get a 5,000mAh battery. According to the report of GizmoChina, Samsung Display will be used in the internal screen of Xiaomi J18s. Its refresh rate will be 120Hz. At the same time, the display of Visionox will be given in the outer panel. It has an under display camera. The phone’s external display will come with 90Hz refresh rate support.
A 108MP primary camera can be given in the foldable smartphone. Also, a sensor will be given, which will come with 3x liquid lens support. Apart from this, an ultra-wide-angle lens has been supported. Xiaomi’s second foldable smartphone can be offered as the first foldable smartphone with some changes.
Mi MIX Fold Specifications
The Mi MIX Fold sports an 8.01-inch WQHD (Wide Quad High Definition) Plus resolution with a flexible internal display. There will be an internal 6.52 inch AMOLED display. The front screen will have a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. Also, it will come with HD + resolution. The phone has a 5020mAh battery with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor.
It has been supported with turbocharging. Xiaomi’s Surge C1 image sensor will be used for the first time in this device, which can prove to be great for photography. Also, for the first time, a liquid lens will be given to the phone. It will get a U-shaped hinge design. The company claims that the weight of Xiaomi’s foldable smartphone will be 27 percent less than the rest of the foldable smartphone.
