Vivo is preparing to launch its latest Vivo Y72 5G to expand its 5G segment in India. According to the report, Vivo Y72 5G 15 can be launched in India on 15 July. Recently, news of the leak of some specifications, color options, and launch offers of the phone has come to the fore before becoming official. Vivo Y72 5G was launched in Thailand in March this year.

The 91Mobiles report also includes a poster, exclusively shared by tipster Yogesh with the publication, that shows the phone in color options – Dream Glow and Graphite Black.
The official-looking poster reveals that the phone will go on sale in India with a cashback offer of Rs 1,500 on transactions with HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and Kotak Mahindra Bank. Apart from this, it can also be offered with one-time screen replacement from VIVO and benefits up to Rs 10,000 from Jio. The report states that the Vivo Y72 5G price in India is expected to be under Rs 20,000.
Specifications of Vivo Y72 5G
According to the poster, Vivo Y72 5G is expected to come with an 8GB RAM and 4GB Extended RAM feature. The smartphone will have a full-HD + display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
Vivo Y72 5G was launched in Thailand in March and according to its specifications, the smartphone is expected to sport a 6.58-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,408 pixels) LCD IPS display. The Indian version could be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC paired with 128GB of onboard storage. It can run on Funtouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11.
The global version of the VIVO Y72 5G comes with a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. There is a 16-megapixel primary sensor for selfie. The smartphone also packs a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support and comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
