Along with the new Rs 351 Prepaid data pack, Vi also announced the launch of GIGAnet claiming that India’s largest 4G network is built on “many principles of 5G architecture that help in delivering a superior network experience”.

Vi (Vodafone-Idea) has launched a great recharge plan in the competition of Airtel and Reliance Jio. The company has introduced it specifically for student professionals. This prepaid recharge plan of Vodafone-Idea comes at Rs 351. The company is offering 100GB data on this recharge plan. The specialty of this recharge pack is that users are not being given any fixed daily validity on it. Meaning users can spend as much data as they want in a day.

“It is our constant endeavor to create relevant propositions to address the needs of digital consumers in the current times. Post-Covid the world has seen online activity increase by leaps and bounds – from video calls to online school to binge-watching shows/videos everything is online. And now with the CRICKET season kicking in, we don’t want our customers to miss out on any action. With 100 GB of data @ just Rs 351 for 56 days – with NO DAILY LIMITS on data – we are confident that Vi customers can binge-watch without having to worry about their quotas being exhausted” said a Vi spokesperson.

For the unaware, the company has also removed the ‘Priority 4G Network’. It seems like the telco is also crediting the free data benefit on recharging its All Rounder recharge pack of Rs 49. The Rs 49 pack from Vodafone-Idea offers Rs 38 talk time, 100MB data, and 28 days of service validity. The 3GB data benefit being offered by the company is completely random and there are high chances you may not receive it entirely.

On other aspects like Video Experience, Games experience, Voice App experience, Download experience it was ranked second, just behind Airtel. On 4G availability and 4G coverage experience, it lagged behind Jio and Airtel.

    Airtel and Jio recharge plans

84GB Data Cricket Pack was launched by Jio for Rs 499. On this recharge plan, Jio is offering a free subscription of Disney + Hotstar VIP to users. The validity of this plan of Jio is 56 days. A maximum of 1.5GB of data is given daily in this plan. At the same time, Disney + Hotstar VIP is offered a free subscription on a prepaid recharge plan of Rs 401 from Airtel. Also, 30GB data is offered with a validity of 28 days.

    Vi launched GIGAnet

The telco has also announced the launch of GIGAnet, India’s strongest 4G network that will enable users to get ahead by staying connected with all that matters, in real-time. India’s leading telecom operator, Vodafone Idea Limited has set up a world-class network with the largest spectrum portfolio, huge capacity, and built on many principles of 5G architecture that help in delivering a superior network experience.

The telco is also offering interesting benefits to its plans. Every prepaid or postpaid plan is now coming with the benefit of MPL cash and discount on Zomato. These offers can put in the spotlight for some time but the telco needs to work on its customer service and improve its overall 4G network so that the customers can stay loyal to the telco in the long-term.
