Tata Sky Broadband’s new plan offers monthly half-yearly and annual subscription offers. With these plans, a free router facility is provided by the company.

Tata Sky Broadband, a subsidiary of Tata Sky Broadband, has introduced a bang-up plan that offers a maximum speed of 500GB of data with a top speed of 300Mbps. However, after the 500GB data limit is met, the internet broadband speed will be reduced to 3Mbps. This new plan will be available on select recharge for less than Rs 1,900 per month in select regions.

According to the tata sky broadband website, Tata Sky’s new plan will be subscribed on a monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly basis. This plan comes with the facility of a free router. In addition, the facility of free installation is being provided to customers who subscribe to this plan quarterly, half-yearly, and annually. Apart from this, the option of data rollover (adding the remaining data next month) is being made available with the fixed 500GB plan.

The new plan is currently available in circles such as Bengaluru, Chennai, Greater Noida, Gurugram, Mumbai, New Delhi, Pimpri Chinchwad, Pune, and Thane, which may soon be implemented in the rest of the country. Earlier in May too, a 300Mbps speed plan was introduced, in which unlimited data was provided. The price of that unlimited plan is Rs 1900, which is available in select circles.

This new plan sits alongside the Rs. 1,900 Tata Sky unlimited broadband plan that comes with the same 300Mbps speeds but a high-speed data cap of 3,300GB. This plan does not offer data rollover but offers free installation for quarterly, semi-annual, and annual subscriptions. Tata Sky notes that the 300Mbps plan is available in selected areas and is subject to technical feasibility. It is recommended to call the contact center in your area to know availability before buying the plan.

These plans come on a monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly basis. Although the monthly plan does not provide facilities like free installation, free router to the users.

Apart from this, the company offers a 10 to 15% discount on the subscription plan of 6 to 12 months. The company’s 6-month plan comes at Rs 4,860, Rs 5,400 and Rs 5,950. The same annual plan has to pay Rs 9,180, Rs 10,200, Rs 11,220.

Tata Sky Binge adds new channels for kids

Earlier this month, Tata Sky Binge partnered with Viacom18 Digital Ventures to bring onboard their content streaming service Voot Select and kids-focused Voot Kids. This partnership will add TV shows from Viacom18 and Voot Originals, along with the loved cartoon characters from Indian and International shows, straight to Binge.

Binge already offers a host of entertainment options from leading platforms like Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar Premium, ZEE5, SunNxt, Hungama Play, Eros Now, and ShemarooMe. The addition of Voot Select and Voot Kids to the existing content will enable Binge users to access more originals, exclusive international content, blockbuster movies in multiple languages, and more.
