Tata Sky Broadband’s 300 Mbps plan Priced at Rs 1,900 is now available in selected areas and is subject to technical feasibility.
Tata Sky Broadband on Friday revised its broadband plans across the country with the introduction of a new high-speed 300 Mbps plan that will be available in selected areas and is subject to technical feasibility. Along with this, the company has also hiked its existing unlimited plans by Rs 50 across the operated 20 cities. In the Fixed GB plans of Tata Sky Broadband have also undertaken a revision with the company reducing its plans to a four-tier segment. Till now, the company has continued its teaser on the landline service with a “Coming Soon” tag with Tata Sky Broadband, and the launch date is yet to revealed.
Tata Sky Broadband 300 Mbps Plan
The company has set the price of Rs 1900 per month for a new 300 Mbps Broadband plan. Although it’s existing unlimited plans have a fair usage policy (FUP) of 1500GB, the company has also set a FUP limit for a new 300 Mbps plan of 3300GB or 3.3TB. Tata Sky Broadband has mentioned, Post exhaustion of the Data Allowance, the subscriber would continue to enjoy data at FUP speed (2 Mbps).
To attract long term subscriptions, the company is offering a 15% and 10% discount on annual and semi-annual subscriptions respectively. For an annual subscription of 300 Mbps plan, subscribers will be charged Rs 18,360 which is after deduction of 15% and for Semi-annual subscription plan priced at Rs 9,720 that is after deduction of 10% if discount.
Tata Sky Broadband is offering free Wi-Fi router to all plans while for installation the company is charging a minimal amount whereas if any subscriber is opting for any of the subscription plans from three months, six months or the annual pack, the company is offering free installation. The existing plans of Tata Sky Broadband starting from 25 Mbps, 50 Mbps, and 100 Mbps are now priced at Rs 950, Rs 1050, Rs 1150 respectively. All plans with a minimum subscription of semi-annual or annual, will get an additional discount of 10% and 15% respectively.
The subscribers who are subscribing to the six months / semi-annual plan of the base 25 Mbps plan are required to pay Rs 4860 whereas the annual pack subscribers are required to pay Rs 9180. Similarly, the subscribers who are interested to subscribe to the semi-annual 50 Mbps plan are required to pay Rs 5400 while the annual pack subscribers of the 50 Mbps plan need to pay Rs 10,200. Further, the semi-annual 100 Mbps subscription plan is now pricing at Rs 5940 while the annual subscription plan of the 100 Mbps plan is pricing at Rs 11,220.
Tata Sky Broadband Revises Fixed GB Plans
The Fixed GB plans of Tata Sky Broadband are now reduced to four tiers including two 50 Mbps plans and two 100 Mbps plans. The base 50 Mbps plan is pricing at Rs 790 per month with a data limit of 150GB while the top-tiered plan is pricing at Rs 1,000 with a 500 GB data limit. The company also offering a Data Rollover option on all its Fixed GB plans which enables users to carry over the unused data to next month.
Meanwhile, the base 100 Mbps plan has been priced at Rs 950 per month with a data limit of 250 GB. Further, the top-tiered 100 Mbps plan is priced at Rs 1,050 per month with a data limit of 500 GB. Similar to the unlimited plans, Tata Sky Broadband offers 10% and 15% discount on Fixed GB plans along with the free installation on three months, six months, and annual plans.
