The Tata Sky subscribers can avail Tata Sky Binge for Rs 249 per month, and it bundles many OTT apps and their subscriptions in this amount.

Tata Sky is one of the most popular DTH service providers out there, and as the other players in this sector, the company is seeing the dawn of OTT applications and the dent to viewership which these apps are causing. In an attempt to deal with this situation, the DTH service providers are coming up with innovative ideas to bring OTT applications as close to the satellite TV channels as possible.

While Dish TV has introduced the DishSMRT Stick, Airtel has brought Internet TV and the Xstream Box. Similarly, Tata Sky has its Tata Sky Binge service, which is a subscription-based solution for subscribers wishing to bring OTT based content on their TV screens. However, the advantage of Tata Sky Binge is not only the service that it offers but also the savings that a subscriber can do by subscribing to this. Amazon Fire TV Stick Tata Sky Edition for Tata Sky Binge Subscribers

Tata Sky Binge costs the subscribers a measly Rs 249 per month. In this amount, the first thing that the subscriber will get is a special edition of the Amazon Fire TV Stick which is the Tata Sky edition of the device. The Amazon Fire TV Stick is something that accomplishes a similar task but for an upfront amount of Rs 3,999.

This means that the subscribers do not have to pay a massive upfront amount for getting an Amazon Fire TV Stick. When you first use the Tata Sky edition of the Amazon Fire TV Stick, you will be required to plug it into the HDMI port of your TV and then you will be required to log in using the Tata Sky login ID. It goes without saying that you will be required to have a reasonably good Wi-Fi connection to enjoy the video streaming services that the Tata Sky Binge offers.

Free Subscription Services Adding to the Savings

The Amazon Fire Stick is just the tip of the iceberg of this offering, the real saving which the subscribers will make is in the content subscription. As part of Tata Sky Binge, the subscribers get free access to applications like Hotstar, Sun NXT, and Hungama Play. Since the subscription to these apps comes bundled with the Tata Sky Binge services, the subscribers do not have to pay any additional amount separately for these subscriptions.

For example, a Hotstar subscription would have cost the subscribers Rs 299 per month or Rs 999 annually. Further on, the Eros Now subscription costs the subscribers Rs 950 annually. When getting the Tata Sky Binge, the subscribers save on these costs automatically, which means that the users will save easily more than Rs 1,000 on these subscription services. Not to mention, that the subscribers also get a free Amazon Fire Stick anyways.
