    Samsung Teases Its Next-Gen Vertical Fold Smartphone

    Samsung’s next-generation vertical fold smartphone can be called as Galaxy Fold 2, and the company can pitch against the upcoming Motorola Razr series

    Samsung is a South Korean multinational company headquartered in Samsung Town, Seoul. It comprises numerous affiliated businesses, most of them united under the Samsung brand. Now since the release of treasure from Motorola, Samsung has also released it’s next-generation vertical fold smartphone can be named Galaxy Fold 2.

    In a recent week of this month, Samsung has introduced the first foldable smartphone in India for Rs 1,64,999 which can be turned into a tablet and now in Samsung Annual Developer Conference, the company has teased its new Fold 2 device which can fold vertically and expand into a massive full-screen display smartphone. The complete details and specifications are not yet revealed by Samsung but we can expect this smartphone by 2020 of Samsung’s W20 5G.

    From the official treasure posted by Samsung, It shows a smartphone unfolded vertically, which becomes a full-screen smartphone with a punch-hole cut out for the selfie camera. Specifications including the display of the upcoming Samsung foldable smartphone have not yet revealed. According to the report, rumors suggest Samsung is mulling on either an 8.1-inch panel or a 6.7-inch screen, which will be slightly compact as compared to the Galaxy Fold.

    The screen will come with an ultra-thin glass that will make the smartphone more durable. As of now, there is no clarity about the rear camera setup the Galaxy Fold 2 will sport. The report further said that being the next-gen foldable smartphone, Samsung Fold 2 will be positioned as a premium device. The phone makers are planning to power it with Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 865, 12GB of RAM, and a minimum of 256GB of internal storage.

    As per the rumors, Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 is expected to be available with Android 10 and One UI 2.1 OS. The smartphone will also support 5G connectivity in the US and UK market and the device might come with Samsung’s 45W fast charging technology.
