Samsung has been quickly updating eligible devices to One UI 5.1 ever since the latest iteration of its custom software was unveiled earlier this month. Many of its current and old flagships have received the update already.

Samsung has recently released its latest user interface update, One UI 5.1. The update is currently rolling out to various Samsung devices, including the Galaxy S21, Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Z Flip 3, and Galaxy Z Fold 3.

One UI 5.1 builds upon the features of the previous update, One UI 3.1, while introducing several new enhancements. One of the most significant changes is the addition of more customization options. Users can now personalize their device’s home screen and lock screen with new themes, wallpapers, and widgets. They can also adjust the size and style of their device’s fonts, icons, and notification badges.

The update also brings improvements to the camera app. With One UI 5.1, Samsung has introduced a new Director’s View mode, which allows users to capture video footage from multiple angles simultaneously. The camera app also includes new filters, improved autofocus, and better low-light performance.

Samsung has also added a new feature called Private Share, which allows users to share photos, videos, and other files securely. Users can choose who they share their files with, set a time limit for the recipient’s access, and revoke access at any time.

Another significant enhancement is the introduction of Eye Comfort Shield, which reduces blue light emissions and adjusts the screen’s color temperature to reduce eye strain. Users can set the feature to activate automatically at certain times or adjust it manually.

Finally, One UI 5.1 includes several performance improvements, including faster app launches and improved battery life. The update also includes the latest Android security patch.

Samsung is gradually rolling out One UI 5.1 to its devices, with availability varying by region and carrier. Users can check for the update by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install.

Overall, One UI 5.1 is a significant update that brings several new features and enhancements to Samsung’s devices. With more customization options, improved camera performance, and enhanced security features, Samsung users can enjoy a more personalized and secure experience with their devices.
