    Samsung has launched the upgraded version of the Galaxy M30, the Galaxy M30s with triple rear camera setup with 48MP sensor, 6,000mAh battery and more

    Samsung has been betting on two series of smartphones in India, one is the highly popular A series, and the other one is the M series. When it comes to the M series of smartphones in India, the smartphone manufacturer has already launched the Galaxy M30, which saw significant traction from the Indian buyers. But for quite some time now, the next variant of the phone, which is a step-up from the previous version, the Galaxy M30s has been in the making.

    Today, Samsung has finally announced the Galaxy M30s in India, and it comes with some significant upgrades. So let’s check out what new things does Samsung offer in the Galaxy M30s.

    Samsung Galaxy M30s Specifications and Features

    The first thing to note about the Samsung Galaxy M30s is obviously how good of an upgrade it is compared to the previous Galaxy M30. There are obviously better cameras, a bigger 6,000mAh battery a new chipset at the core of the phone and more. There are a lot of things along with this, which make the device resemble the original Galaxy M30. The device sports the 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display.

    Under the hood, the Exynos 9611 octa-core chipset comes paired with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM, and there are also 64GB and 128GB RAM options. Samsung also offers 15W charging option with this phone, and when it comes to software, the Samsung Galaxy M30s boots Android 9 Pie based One UI 1.5.

    You might remember that the Samsung Galaxy M30 comes with triple rear camera setup and this fact remains true for the Samsung Galaxy M30s as well. But, the difference is really in the details of the camera which the latest phone sports. There are some noteworthy upgrades on both the software and hardware front when it comes to the camera of the Galaxy M30s.

    The rear camera setup on the Galaxy M30s now comes with a 48MP primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 5MP depth sensor. Along with upgraded optics, the Galaxy M30s also comes with camera-based features like Super slow-mo, Super steady, Hyperlapse, 4K recording, and Night mode and more. On the front, the Samsung Galaxy M30s still comes with the same 16MP selfie shooter.

    Pricing and Availability of Samsung Galaxy M30s

    When it comes to the pricing of the Samsung Galaxy M30s, the base variant of the phone with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage will retail for Rs 13,999, whereas the 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant of the phone will retail for Rs 16,999. Samsung also made three colour options available for the Galaxy M30s, and these include Opal Black, Pearl White, and Sapphire Blue. As for the availability, the brand has announced that the phone will be available exclusively on Samsung India’s online store and Amazon.in starting September 29.

    Besides the Galaxy M30s, Samsung has also launched the M10s which comes with a Rs 8,999 price tag. The phone sports a Exynos 7884B SoC, 3GB of RAM and 4,000mAh of battery.
