JioPhone Diwali Offer’ extended till November 30. The feature phone users who were not able to avail the JioPone Diwali offer, now get another month to avail the benefits of the festive offer

Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited, (Jio), is an Indian telecommunications company and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Reliance Industries, headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It operates a national LTE network with coverage across all 22 telecom circles. The company announced Jio Phone Diwali 2019 sale last month, offering buyers to purchase the Jio Phone at a special discounted price of Rs 699 for the festive season. The offer was supposed to come to an end by the end of October. However, the company has now announced that due to the overwhelmingly positive response it got for the offer, it is extending it by another month. Now consumers can avail the offer till the end of November 2019.

Jio Phone was announced back in 2017 with a price tag of Rs 1,500 back but came with an exchange offer last month that effectively brought the price down to Rs 501. The handset features a 2.4-inch display and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 512MB of RAM. The phone has 4GB of internal storage along with microSD card support (128GB) and includes Wi-Fi connectivity, 2,000mAh battery and runs on KaiOS. Other features include support for 22 Indian languages, an option to mirror content playing on the phone to a television using a proprietary cable as well as support for apps like Facebook, Google Maps, YouTube and more.

The feature phone users who were not able to avail the JioPone Diwali offer, now get another month to avail the benefits of the festive offer. The company expects to migrate multi-fold 2G feature phone users onto the JioPhone platform and continue to be the single largest 4G device platform.

JioPhone at Rs 699: How to Avail it?

Reliance Jio introduced the JioPhone back in 2017 and it became popular instantly, thanks to the affordable price tag. Jio is now notching up the things a bit higher and will be selling the JioPhone at just Rs 699 for a limited period. The company says it’s a limited period offer valid from Dussehra to Diwali.

That’s not all. Reliance Jio will also provide additional data and benefits for up to 13 months. For Example, if a customer is buying this handset worth Rs 800, the company will add an additional benefits of Recharge by Rs 808 followed by buying the device worth Rs 1,000, company will add 3 months recharge worth Rs 1,006, Buying worth Rs 1,500 company will add 8 months recharge at Rs 1,501 and buying worth Rs 2,000 the company will add 13 months recharge of Rs 1,966.

All the recharge benefits include Rs 10 IUC Topup. This is an interesting offer from Reliance Jio, and for the first time, we do not see any sort of terms and conditions from the Mukesh Ambani-owned company.
