Reliance Jio recently announced the JioPostPaid Plus plan. Under this, five plans of 399 rupees 599 rupees 799 rupees 999 rupees, and 1499 rupees were launched. Netflix Amazon Prime Disney + Hotstar with free data service is available on these plans.
A new Credit Carry Forward feature has been launched by Reliance Jio for its existing postpaid users. Under this, Reliance Jio postpaid users will be able to carry forward the credit limit while shifting to the JioPostPaid Plus service. Also, no security deposit will have to be paid to the customer shifting to the Jio Postpaid Plus service.
What is Credit Limit carry forward feature
This is a kind of capping facility. Meaning users will be able to set their maximum postpaid bill of one month. Monthly expenses beyond this limit will not come on your postpaid plan. With the facility to carry forward the credit limit of Jio, it will be easier to shift from the old plan to the new Jio Postpaid Plus plan.
As a result of the new launch, postpaid customers shifting to Reliance Jio Postpaid Plus with an existing credit limit will not be required to pay any security deposit. Jio will offer its existing credit limit to the consumers.
To avail the new feature, existing postpaid users need to send “Hi” to 88501-88501 on WhatsApp from their postpaid number. They will then be asked to upload the postpaid bill of their existing operator to confirm the existing credit limit. After 24 hours, the customers will need to go to any Jio store or call for home delivery of their Jio Postpaid Plus SIM.
It is important to note that the new feature is limited to postpaid customers having an existing credit limit. This means that the users moving to Jio Postpaid Plus from an existing prepaid account will still be required to pay a security deposit that was spotted just earlier this week. Similar will be the case if you are getting a Jio Postpaid Plus connection as a fresh consumer – without migrating from an existing postpaid connection.
