    Redmi introduced its first TV in China, the Redmi Smart TV 98-inch last year. Recently, Xiaomi brought the Redmi Max 86-inch Ultra HD TV that was launched alongside the Redmi K40-series smartphones in China.

    The launch date of Redmi TV has been confirmed. The new Redmi TV will be launched in India on March 17 at 12 noon. Smart TV’s launching event can be seen on social media channels. Invitation for the launch of smart TV has been sent by Chinese company Xiaomi. Earlier, Manu Kumar Jain, managing director of Xiaomi India teased the launching details of Redmi TV.

    The launch of Redmi TV has also been revealed from the tweeter handle of Redmi India. In it, Smart TV is posted along with the “XL” experience. In such a situation, it is expected that it will be a big screen size smart TV. But apart from this, there is no information related to Smart TV.

    “Last year, our Redmi brand took a huge step forward towards its journey into new categories,” Jain had said during the event. “We began our phone-plus strategy and we launched many new product categories such as power banks, TWS, and the fitness band. And this year, in 2021, we are proud to introduce something bigger!”

    In China, the brand has a list of smart Redmi TV models with the most recent one being the Redmi Max 86-inch that comes with a 120Hz display refresh rate. Xiaomi already has its Mi TV range in India that has taken on the likes of Samsung, Sony, and LG as well as Vu, TCL, and other popular smart TV makers in the country.

    Recently, Redmi MaX TV has been launched in China, which comes in an 86 inch screen size. Its price is 7,999 yuan i.e. around 90,139 rupees. The Redmi MAX TV has an 86-inch LED-backlit LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This smart TV comes with 10-bit color, HDR, HDR10, HDR10 +, and HLG support. It features MEMC (Motion Estimation and Motion Compensation) as a special feature. This TV works on a quad-core processor and has 32GB internal storage with 2GB of RAM.

    Talking about other features of Redmi MAX TV, it has Dolby Vision with Atmos support for great audio quality. The company claims that it will provide TV users with great picture quality as well as sound quality. It also has voice assistant features. Also, on TV, users will get two speakers which come with 25W. Apart from this, Microsoft Xbox Series X support is also available for 3 HDMI ports and Gaming Experience.
