Realme has launched the 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition in India, combining the smartphone’s existing hardware with a Hogwarts-inspired design, customised software and a collector-focused package. The limited-edition model comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage and is priced at Rs 62,999, with an effective launch price of Rs 56,699 available with eligible bank offers.

The special edition is available in a single 12GB+256GB configuration and goes on sale in India through Flipkart and Realme’s retail channels. Realme has limited the Harry Potter Edition gifting package to 5,000 units globally.
The Rs 56,699 figure is an effective offer price rather than the phone’s standard listed price. The official price of the handset is Rs 62,999.
Hogwarts-inspired design and colour-changing rear panel
The Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition gets a brown textured rear finish with an Argyle-inspired pattern and Hogwarts branding. The rear panel incorporates the crests of the four Hogwarts houses, while the camera module takes design inspiration from Hedwig, Harry Potter’s owl.
One of the more distinctive elements is the colour-changing treatment on the rear panel. The Hogwarts-themed graphics become more visible under sunlight, giving the phone a different appearance depending on the lighting conditions.
Collector box includes Harry Potter-themed accessories
Realme has extended the Harry Potter theme beyond the smartphone itself. The limited-edition package includes a Hogwarts-themed collector box along with items such as a Hogwarts acceptance letter, Platform 9¾ train ticket, house-themed bookmarks and other franchise-inspired accessories.
The packaging is designed as part of the collector experience rather than simply serving as standard smartphone packaging. This is also where the 5,000-unit global limitation applies, making the package a more restricted release than the regular Realme 16 Pro.
200MP camera and Dimensity 7300 Max
The Harry Potter Edition retains the hardware specifications of the standard Realme 16 Pro 5G. It features a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max chipset paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
For photography, the phone carries a 200MP primary rear camera with optical image stabilisation, alongside an 8MP ultrawide camera. A 50MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.
7,000mAh battery and 144Hz AMOLED display
The smartphone features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a 7,000mAh battery that supports 80W wired charging.
The device runs Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16. The Harry Potter treatment also extends to the software, with customised wallpapers, app icons, lock-screen elements and other Hogwarts-themed interface changes.
Realme turns a regular smartphone into a collector edition
Unlike a conventional hardware refresh, the Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition keeps the core specifications of the standard model and focuses the differentiation on design, software and accessories. The limited production run and franchise-themed packaging make the release more targeted towards Harry Potter collectors and fans than buyers primarily looking for a different hardware configuration.
