It will reportedly use a 5G chipset from MediaTek. The cited source claims that the Poco M4 will be powered by a Dimensity 700 SoC, which one will also find inside the Realme Narzo 30 5G smartphone. It is said to ship with Android 12 OS, which would be nice as several mid-range phones were launched this year with older Android OS.

The company will still add support for 18W charging, as was the case with the Poco M3. With this device, Poco bundles a 22.5W charger, but it is currently unknown whether the new one will also ship with the same adapter.
