POCO M3 Pro 5G Launched in India The sale of the POCO M Pro 5G smartphone will start on June 14, 2021, at 12 noon. The phone can also be purchased from the e-commerce site Flipkart and the company’s official site.
Poco has officially dropped its first 5G smartphone in India and unsurprisingly, it’s more affordable than expensive. The Poco M3 Pro is one of the most affordable 5G phones in the country and features a MediaTek chipset, a sizeable battery, a high-refresh-rate panel, and a triple-camera setup.
“We are very pleased to share that as of May 6, 2021, POCO achieved a total of over 17 million shipments since the launch of POCO F1 in 2018. For POCO M3 alone, the overall global shipment has surpassed 3 million units since its launch last November. Not only have we achieved tremendous growth in terms of shipment, but our fan-base has also been growing rapidly. Now we even have a POCO community app where fans can share their feedback that is later used in our product development,” said Kevin Qiu, Head of POCO Global.
Poco M3 Pro price in India, availability
Poco M3 Pro 5G is priced at Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB + 64GB storage model while the 6GB + 128GB storage variant costs Rs. 15,999. The phone is offered in three color options — Cool Blue, Power Black, and Poco Yellow. It will go on sale starting June 14 at 12 pm (noon) via Flipkart and the company is offering early bird pricing for both models just for June 14. The 4GB + 64GB model will cost Rs. 13,499 while the 6GB + 128GB will cost Rs. 15,499.
POCO M3 Pro 5G Specifications
POCO M3 Pro smartphone has a 6.5-inch Full HD Plus LCD DotDisplay. Its screen brightness is 1100nits. The phone screen refresh rate will be 90Hz, which comes with DynamicSwitch feature support. As a processor, the phone has been given 7nm high performance MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G, which comes with Mali G-57 GPU support. POCO M3 Pro can be offered with Android 11 based MIUI 12 custom skin.
The side-mounted fingerprint scanner can be supported in this. For power backup, a 5000mAh battery has been supported in the phone, which will come with 18W fast charger support. According to the company’s claim, POCO M3 Pro will get two days of battery life.
For the first time ever, POCO is making use of MediaTek Dimensity technology, offering enhanced overall performance and speed. This powerful MediaTek Dimensity 700 offers flagship-level performance while maintaining lower power consumption for a long-lasting battery thanks to its 7nm processing technology. If we talk about photography, then the phone can be offered with triple rear camera setup. Its primary camera will be 48MP. Apart from this, a 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro lens can be given. There will be an 8MP camera for selfie and video calling. As connectivity in the phone, Dual Band 4G, Dual Band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 GPS, USB Type-C port has been supported. The weight of the phone is 190 grams.
