POCO India has launched its new logo and Mascot. The new logo has been given the ‘Made of Mad’ tagline, which is really quite unique. Notably, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco knocked in India in the year 2018 and the company launched many smartphones in the budget segment for users. But last year i.e. in 2020, Poco India separated from Xiaomi and entered the market as an independent brand. After which the company launched its smartphone Poco X2 in India as an independent brand. However, in the meantime, the company did not change its logo but now the company has completed preparations to create a new identity with the announcement of the new logo.
Commenting on the unveiling of the new logo and mascot, Anuj Sharma, Country Director, Poco India went on to talk about the company’s successful independent year and the objective of the brand refresh is to honour the community which is as different and unique as the company’s products in the market.
All elements of the mascot have a bigger meaning, as the halo on the head is supposed to represent a sense of goodness with a cause, while the antennas refer to naughtiness and spreading madness. The triangular mouth connotes sharp wit while the evil eyes contrast the halo.
