The Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G has been spotted online, making it clear that the device will be launched in India soon. But the official information related to the launch and price of this smartphone has not yet been received in India.
Oppo introduced the Reno 5 Pro 5G smartphone in China two weeks ago. Now this new handset has been spotted on BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards), which has made it clear that it will soon enter the Indian market. However, the company has not yet given any information regarding the launch or price of Reno 5 Pro 5G in India.
Oppo had teased the smartphone’s India launch as soon as it was launched in China earlier this month. It’s still unclear what SoC will the smartphone get in India, but we know that the Chinese variant is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM. The phone has also been listed on Singapore’s IMDA certification website.
Tasleem Arif, Head of India R&D at Oppo, had tweeted asking Indians whether they want a “great smartphone to shoot brilliant videos” in India, hinting at the Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G launch in the country. Speculations are rife that the phone will debut in India in January, but we are still waiting for an official announcement from Oppo.

If you look at the price of OPPO Reno 5 Pro 5G, the price of 8GB + 128GB storage model is $ 519 i.e. around Rs 38,300. While the price of 12GB + 256GB storage is $ 580 i.e. around Rs 43,000.

The dual-SIM (Nano) Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G runs on Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1 on top. It sports a 6.55-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 92.1 percent screen-to-body ratio. As mentioned, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ SoC, coupled with ARM Mali-G77 MC9 GPU and up to 12GB of RAM. The phone comes with up to 256GB onboard storage.
For photography, Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G comes with a quad rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.7 lens, an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle f/2.2 lens, a 2-megapixel macro shooter with an f/2.4 lens, and a 2-megapixel portrait shooter with an f/2.4 lens. For selfies and video calls, there is a 32-megapixel sensor on the front. The phone is backed by a 4,350mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging.
Oppo A33
Notably, the company launched Oppo A33 in India in the last month i.e. in November. The price of this smartphone is Rs 10,990. The Oppo A33 2020 smartphone has a 6.5-inch HD Plus display, which has a resolution of 720×1600 pixels. Also, for better performance in this phone, Octacore Snapdragon 460 processor, 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage is provided, which can be increased to 256GB with the help of micro-SD card. At the same time, this smartphone works on ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10.
Users will get a triple rear camera setup in Oppo A33 2020 smartphone, which has a 13MP primary sensor, 2MP depth sensor, and 2MP macro lens. Also, an 8MP selfie camera has been given at the front of the phone.
The company has given features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth version 5, 4G and USB Type-C port in terms of connectivity in Oppo A33 2020 smartphone. Apart from this, this device has got a 5,000mAh battery, which supports the 18W fast charging feature.
