The sale of Oppo F19 Pro Plus 5G smartphone will start from 17 March 2021. Apart from e-commerce site Amazon India, the phone can be purchased from Leading Online Platform. The pre-booking of the phone has started from 8 March.
Oppo F19 Pro series is the latest entry to India’s smartphone market. There are two smartphones in the series, like always, but this time they both have the “Pro” suffix added to their names. This is also the first time an F-series phone has 5G. The Oppo F19 Pro+, which is pricier among the two, comes with 5G connectivity, which means the phone is future-proof. That is because there is no 5G in India right now but there will be at some point in time in the future, say about 12-18 months. Those who buy the F19 Pro+ right now would not need to get another one just for 5G.
At its event held on Monday, Oppo also announced the launch of the F19 Pro, which is not a 5G phone. And unlike the F19 Pro+, the F19 Pro is not a big upgrade over the F17 Pro that was launched last year in India. Oppo F19 Pro+ price in India has been set at Rs. 25,990 for the sole 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The new Oppo phones come in Fluid Black and Space Silver colour options.
Oppo F19 Pro Plus 5G smartphones can be purchased with HDFC, ICICI, KOTAK, Bank of Baroda, and Federal Bank Credit Cards at 7.5% cashback. Apart from this, Paytm and IDFC will be able to buy from First Bank at an 11 percent discount. Also, you will be able to buy the phone with a zero down payment option. One-time screen replacement will be available on the purchase of the phone.
Oppo F19 Pro+ specifications
Oppo F19 Pro+ 5G smartphone has a 6.43-inch five-hole Super AMOLED display. Its resolution is 1,080×2,400 pixels. The same aspect ratio will be 20: 9. While the refreshed rate will be 60Hz. The phone will come with Corning Gorilla Glass Protection. Octa-Core MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC has been supported in the phone as a processor. The phone will get the support of Android 11 based ColorOS 11.1.
Talking about photography, then the phone will come with a Quad rear camera setup. Its primary camera will be 48MP, which will have an aperture f / 1.7. Apart from this, an 8MP wide-angle lens, 2MP portrait sensor, and 2MP macro sensor will be supported. The phone will get support for AI Highlight Portrait Video, Focus Lock, Dual View Video, Night Plus Mode. Oppo F19 Pro Plus 5G smartphone for selfie has a 16MP camera.
The Oppo F19 Pro smartphone will come with 4,310mAh battery support, which will get support for 50W fast charging. If you talk about dimensions, then the phone will come with 160.1×73.4×7.8mm size. It will weigh 173 grams. In terms of connectivity, the phone will get support of 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth v5.1, USB Type-C and 3.5mm headphone jack. In-display fingerprint sensor is supported in the phone.
