OnePlus Nord 2T 5G With 80W Charging, MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC Launched in India
OnePlus Nord 2T has been launched in India by OnePlus. The device will be up for sale from July 5, 2022. OnePlus has announced the launch of the Nord 2T through a simple announcement without much hassle. Having said this, the OnePlus Nord 2 is still available for sale in India, and the company has not yet announced any price cut for Nord 2 despite the launch of the Nord 2T. Let’s understand the price and specifications of the newly launched Nord 2T series.
OnePlus Nord 2T Price and Availability in India
OnePlus Nord 2T has been launched in two variants such as 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB. The base variant of 8GB+128GB priced at Rs 28,999 and 12GB+256GB variant priced at Rs 33,999. The smartphone is available in Gray Shadow and Jade Fog color options. OnePlus Nord 2T will be available on online shopping websites such as Amazon.in, OnePlus.in, OnePlus Store App and offline store including the OnePlus Experience store, and select a retail store in India starting from July 5, 2022.
As part of the launch offer, customers can avail of an instant discount of Rs 1,500 on ICICI Bank credit card and debit card transactions. This instant bank discount will be available between July 5, 2022, to July 11, 2022.
Along with this, ICICI Bank cardholders can avail No-Cost EMI option for buying OnePlus Nord 2T. Customers buying directly from OnePlus such as the OnePlus.in website or the OnePlus Store App, they will be getting an additional exchange discount of Rs 3,000 which can be availed between July 5 to July 14.
OnePlus has also announced, that the first 1,000 shoppers on the OnePlus Store app will also get a OnePlus Nord Handy Fanny Pack with the smartphone.
The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G buyers can also get a Red Cable Care plan at Rs 749 while purchasing the smartphone from OnePlus.in website or OnePlus Store App. The Red Cable Care plan offers 12 months of extended warranty, 120GB of cloud storage, and dedicated customer helpline support.
OnePlus Nord 2T Specifications
The dual-SIM (Nano) OnePlus Nord 2T 5G runs Android 12 with OxygenOS 12.1 on top and features a 6.43-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 90Hz refresh rate. The hole-punch design-featuring display comes with HDR10+ certification and is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Under the hood, the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G has the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC, along with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM.
The phone carries the triple rear camera setup that houses a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens that carries optical image stabilisation (OIS) support. The camera setup also includes an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter with a field-of-view of 120 degrees and a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor with an f/2.2 lens.
OnePlus has offered up to 4K video recording support at 30fps. There are also features including Super Slow Motion video at up to 960fps. Additionally, the camera setup is paired with a dual-LED flash.
The OnePlus Nord 2T has a punch-hole cut-out on the top-left corner, slim bezels, and an under-display fingerprint sensor. It offers Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection for the display. It provides a 6.43-inch Full-HD+ (1080×2400 pixels) AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Dimensions-wise, the device measures 8.2mm in thickness and weighs 190g.
The OnePlus Nord 2T features a triple camera arrangement on the rear that comprises a 50MP (f/1.9) primary lens, an 8MP (f/2.2) 120-degree ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP (f/2.2) depth sensor. On the front, it offers a 32MP (f/2.4) snapper for selfies and video calling.
The OnePlus Nord 2T draws fuel from a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The handset boots Android 12 topped with the latest OxygenOS 12.1. It houses a 4,500mAh battery with support for 80W fast-charging technology. Connectivity options include 5G, dual-SIMs, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and a Type-C port.
