OnePlus 12, the eagerly awaited flagship of the famous Chinese smartphone giant, is set to make its debut on December 4, 2023. Marking an important milestone as the company’s 10th anniversary, the launch will take place in Shenzhen, China.
However, OnePlus enthusiasts outside China will need to be patient, as the global release is expected to happen at a later date, possibly in 2024. This follows the trend seen with the OnePlus 11, which premiered in China and globally in January 2023. 7 February 2023.

OnePlus is set to introduce 12 impressive features, including a 6.82-inch X1 “Oriental” LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 1440×3168 pixels. The display, co-developed with BOE, supports a 120Hz refresh rate and boasts a peak brightness of 2600nits. Enhancing the imaging capabilities, the smartphone will include the company’s first-generation imaging engine chip, Display P1.
The upcoming OnePlus 12 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3, which promises out-of-the-box support for Wi-Fi 7 connectivity and 5G capabilities. Notably, OnePlus is ready to venture into uncharted territory by potentially introducing a 1TB internal storage variant with 24GB of RAM – a move reminiscent of industry giants like Samsung and Apple, who have previously introduced 1TB internal storage variants with their flagship models. In terms of camera capabilities, the OnePlus 12 has a great triple-camera setup at the back. Leading the imaging prowess is the new Sony 48MP dual-layer stacked LiTeA 808 primary sensor, complemented by a 64MP telephoto sensor that enables up to 3x optical zoom. One of the three is a high-resolution 48MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, promising a versatile and powerful photography experience.
