Mi Notebook Set to Launch in India on June 11, Know More

The Mi Notebook will be offered on the Intel 10th gen Core i7 processor and can provide up to 12 hours of backup used in it.

Chinese manufacture Xiaomi is about to launch its new device Mi Notebook in India and the company has recently revealed it. According to the information given by the company, this device will be launched in India on 11 June. The features of Mi Notebook have been revealed so far, according to which the company will present it on the Intel 10th gen Core i7 processor. Earlier RedmiBook 14 was also launched in the Chinese market with the same processor. This time, Mi Notebook will be launched in the global market including India.

    Mi Notebook

Xiaomi India managing director Manu Kumar Jain has shared a teaser video on his Twitter account. In this 8-second video, the company has given a glimpse of the upcoming Mi Notebook in which its black color variant can be seen. Also, information has been given that this device has been given ultra-light design as well as super light. It will be quite easy to take it somewhere. Apart from this, the company has not shared information about any other features.

    Mi Notebook

As mentioned earlier, the Mi Notebook will be powered by the 10th generation Intel Core Mobile platform. The laptop is expected to get Intel Core i5 while the Horizon Edition might use a more powerful Core i7 chipset.

The standard model is rumored to come with 256GB storage while the premium model could get 512GB SSD storage. The Horizon Edition is expected to pack NVIDIA GeForce MX350 graphics while the regular model will rely on MX250 graphics.

The teasers suggest that Mi Notebook and Mi Notebook Horizon Edition will feature a 14-inch display. In the case of Horizon Edition, the 14-inch display is tipped to have thin bezels surrounding it. The 14-inch display will output Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and offers a 91 percent screen-to-body ratio. With the 14-inch design, Xiaomi is expected to compete against Lenovo ThinkBook, Dell Inspiron, and HP Pavilion lineup in India.

So far, many leaks have come out about the Mi Notebook, which was reported that the company is going to launch RedmiBook under Mi branding in India. The company is selling its laptops under the Redmi and Mi branding in the Chinese market. The battery used in the Mi Notebook can give a battery life of 12 hours. However, no information is available about its other features.

On the other hand, if we talk about Xiaomi RedmiBook 14, then it was launched in the market with a unibody design. The laptop weighs 1.5 kg as offered on the NVIDIA MX250 graphics processor. It has a 14-inch display and the company claims that its battery provides 10 hours of backup. It uses the 10th gen Intel Core processor. Microsoft Office is pre-installed for the convenience of users.

Xiaomi claims it will be a high-end flagship-level laptop, meant for power users. So, if you are expecting a budget model, you are probably out of luck. In China, Xiaomi has a range of Mi Laptop and RedmiBook options to cater to different segments. The company, however, is in plans to begin its laptop business in India with the single Mi Notebook model that will be made for India.
